Personally i have only watched half this movie, that's all I could take. I borrowed it off a mate. I just can't see the point in this film. It's like a million other mega budget , so called hollywoodblockbusters. I just find them totally dull and mind numbing. I saw the original and found that extremely ok at best.

Sorry to put a downer on everything, but it's my HONEST opinion.

x2 is way better than the first, to imagine what the third will be like!

I gotta question. My friend and I saw it when it first came out, and the death of Jean made me mad cause she's extremely....good at acting? haha. anyway, does she come back in the next movie like my friends say she is going to? Does anyone know? Or, is there anywerhe where I can read about x3?

BTW, since this is review, i LOVED the movie. My favorite part was when Magneto escapes his cell. Best line of the movie "Too much iron in your blood"

It's practically defenite that shes coming back as phoenix in the next one. The producers have already said that she is.

X2 was great!, they are making room for X3 to come out as Jean dies in the end, she will be back in the 3rd movie as "The Phoniex", In the comics and on cartoon the phoniex was the most powerful and uncontrolable mutant. I have a strong feeling Jean won't be able to control her power and she will most likely be the enemy in X3.

They've signed up Kelly Hu for X3. Hows that going to work? I know she's a cyborg sort of thing in the comic but adamantium is meant to be unbreakable once set.

Kelly Hu signed a 2 movie contract. They have an option that doesnt mean she'll be in X3.
Please questions about the movie or X3 topic should be asked in the x-men forum. This is for X2 reviews only.

I think the script isnt as strong. The story was good but the dialogue kinda sucked.

i agree with you metroplex. the characters didn't really have any meaningful conversations like they did in the first movie. that one was more personal, two was more action and drama for logan.

X-2 was better than the first. It had more of a story to it. The first one was "one big trailer for the second movie", that's what the director, Brian Singer, said in an interview on the X-2 DVD. I personaly agree that the first one was just to let u get to know the charecters and where there coming from. Plus, Nightcrawler is my favorite Xmen, and he kicked some serious butt in his intro in X-2!
