Face it Link fans. His chances of beating Seph are lower than a dwarf with no legs. seven or seventeen Link will lose and he will lose badly. Seph is better trained, better equipped and despite what anyone thinks his sword is not unliftible. It's a Masume blade (I know thats not how it's spelt but I can't remember the full word.) and therefore bulit in the Japanese style of folded metal. So while long it would probably be the same weight as Link's broadsword. At best it is unweildly but that's why practice was invented. Sephiroth trained with that sword for so long it became a extension of his own body. Link in almost all his games if not all simply stumbled into swordfighting. And one last thing take a look at the monsters they fight. Link is a great fighter don't get me wrong I love most of his games but he is nowhere near Seph's league

I stated at the beginning of the thread that it was in REAL LIFE, so obviously there can't be any magic. So you are also saying that seph isn't strong enough to beat link hand to hand, that he would have to hide behind magic?

Stab Sephiroth and he would still win... Chop of a hand and he will still win.... What i am trying to say is that noone can beat Sephiroth... Not even Cloud ( not for good ). He will always win both in body, spirit and mind. A fact is that the name Link really does'nt tell me anything.

Magic SHOULD be included...but you guys are talking about 2 different RPG types. If they made a Link turn based RPG....Link would probably have sweet ass magic and some sort of holy-er than god blade...but he doesn't because the game is about puzzle solving with a hookshot and bombs and not about building up EXP.
