Ive never figured out the appeal Runescape has. The only outcome ive come to why its so popular is that its for poor people who cant afford GOOD MMORPG's who dont mind playing a game with graphics that were out dated 12 years ago

First thats bullshit that your trying to call people poor. second the graphics are good for a java based game, even though it isnt that much Runescape still cost $10.00 a month, Im getting tired of people ripping on RS, theres nothing wrong with it, its just a fun game to interact with people, theres plenty of stuff to do on the game once your a higher level and familiar with the game. Im tired of people such as you who have never given the damn game a chance, what pisses me off the most is your tryin to call people poor thats bs ffs.
Graphics aren't everything, just look at the old games, people at the time loved them, and played them for hours, and some still do. Just because a game doesn't have amazing graphics, doesn't mean it suck. But I guess there are some people that have a negative mindset about
"poor graphic" games, and they automatically judge them as bad. Or they simply can't play them due to their eyes bursting into flames due to the lack of the need of a top of the line 2GB Video Card (ok i'm joking lol).
Back on topic, I played it for a while before the RS 3D. It was sort of addicting, but once the RS3D came out the system got messed up, some of my good friends in the game went to the new RS, while others stayed back. And the wilderness was not as packed, so pking was going downhill.
Yeah I quit because I was A member lvl 57 and the site banned my character and said I was playing for as a member for free because they never received my money order i was so frustrated so I never bothered w/ it again
WoW although my personal experiance is lacking atm, is 100 times better than RS will ever be and imo perhaps the best MMORPG around, depending on what you like ofc, although i think its ageing somewhat now
unless runscape make a HUGE turn around (better sound, graphics, and new crap) then i wont be playing that game anytime soon... play maplestory or bots... those games rule...
