Did LOTR beat TITANIC ?
On the front page of Killermovies.com you click on the message about LOTR make 200 and somethin million worldwide.And in the message it says LOTR has broken all previous records.Im wondering does that mean it beat TITANIC and if so or not what other records has it beaten and what for.

the only Leo movie that is good is What's Eating Gilbert Grape. cuz Johnny Depp is in it. oh, and i guess Catch Me If You Can was good. But Titanic is just so... um ...

people stop bashing titantic........it was a good movie.......yeah i know i just wanted to see that thing sink more than anything else but it was good. I had a wider appeal than lotr..........too young and VERY OLD..

And unfortunatley the twin ship of Titanic - Gigantic - didn't sunk againt a coconut on Caribbean Sea or we will have the pleasure of two movies with people drowning...
I hope the new Queen Mary II may have a long live cruising the seas.

Yes, no chance of LOTR beating Titianic in the Box Office- or indeed a chance of any film doing so in the near future.

when they say beat "the titanic" they mean the 1.8 billion dollar mark world wide.....and no LOTR: ROTK hasn't beaten Titanic. I'm guessing that is because ROTK has been out for 1 week and Titanic was out for several months. Just give it time and you'll probably find it at the top. Especially since i had to fork over $7 to see a damn matinee. Didn't matinee's use to be like $5. And now they don't even server popcorn in the cool little tubs, now they're in a crappy paperbag. theatres must make crazy money robbing the public like this.

Nah! The only reason Titanic will never be dethroned is because of the year it came it out. Back then people didn't download movies from the internet so much. As long as movies can be downloaded on the internet there will never be a new box office champion.
Anyways Titanic was long a boring unlike, ROTK the movie was long but exciting.
