I'm starting over, do not mistake me for my brother - he has left. Eezy has convinced me to come back, give him some credit.
I love it so much..I was bawling at the theatre when he was singing that song. It was so sad..and I really love the message.
Billy Boyd was asked by Peter Jackson to write the music for the song. The lyrics belong to Tolkien. Boyd explained that he wanted it to sound like an old song that Pippin's grandfather might have sung.
Pippin's song is the one the hobbits hummed in Chapter 3, Three is Company. It was taught to Frodo by Bilbo Baggins. Bilbo had made up the words, to the tune that was as 'old as the hills.

It's on the soundtrack. I have it so I can listen to it anytime hehe. I wuv it SO much. I wish I could sing like that...It's so purdy. I hope you guys who don't have it get the soundtrack soon! I love the music on the 3rd movie. It's awesome. But good luck on finding it! Hope ya do.
