Does anybody else think this film was funny. I saw it for the first time last weekend after borrowing it from a friend and i could not stop laughing especially when he takes it out on Evan in the media room.
I'm a Christian, so I was interested in how they would handle the 'being God' thing, and thought it would be really blasphemous...
But it wasn't - it was quite good, and Jim Carrey wasn't overly obnoxious like he sometimes can be. I enjoyed it, but I'm not sure it would be one I'd buy and watch over and over again.
I thought the movie was pretty good!! I watched it once in the summer and I had entretainment in it! it gave me a lesson of how to pray and and how to see how God does the things. I loved the idea of see Morgan Freeman as the role of God too, very original.

Jack Sparrow is the the BEST Pirate I've ever seen!
I think the movie was really good, but they left with some unanswered questions. Like does Bruce countinue to ignore all the prayers, and why does God take a vacation?

you know i have wasted time in my life, i have wasted alot of time in my life. I have wasted years of my life. Watching this movie however was the most unbearable waste of time i have ever expierenced. you know people get murdered every day, why can't someone murder Jim carey? Jim carey just turns un funny shit into even worse SHIT. what a waste of God damn time ( no pun inteded) Every joke in this movie has been done a thousand times before. They just wrapped up all the senseless bland jokes in a concept of what if you were GOD. final opinion BULLSHIT

it was awesome, but i also agree with T-1000. the media room was funny, but i thought the funniest part was when Bruce is on the boat by Niagra Falls, and he hears his co-worker using his wording on how "the way the cookie crumbles", and he froze up, and finally got to talking, finishing with a "see ya later f*ckers!"... idk, i thought that was funny, but it must just be me, since i was the only person in the theatre laughing.

Oh gosh, i thought that part was one of the funniest ones!
I also liked the part where he's on the street syncing 'I got the Power'. I know that part was shown a millon times in the previews, but it never got old to me!
P.S the media room was also very funny
