Isn't SIN a term with inherrant religious overtones?
I believe in right and wrong but Sin is more than that and, without religious beliefs, I can't see a way to believe in it.

Sin can exist so long as you have an objective system of morals.
If you beleive that right or wrong is just a matter of opinion, then sin is a redundant concept.
Nearly all religions have objective morals, of course, while virtually everyone I know seems to think that right or wrong is just down to opinion, so sin seems to be a dying concept.
I like to think that morals can be objective, though.

I suppose so, I always considered Sin to be a religious concept rather than just a moralistic one.
It is all very subjective though, each person has their own moral standard, and even that cna change as a person grows.

It's the subjectivity that's the problem usually.

True, but an objective system works better IMHO. Not ideal but better. It's also restricitve and we don;t seem to want ANY restrictions these days. They call that freedom I guess.

Not really, no. That's what He did when he brought the Flood actually. And then He swore never to destroy human life like that again.
