I'm excited who's going to play Luna as well. After all the Cho madness, here comes another one... who's going to play Luna.
Well, I personally think Rachel Hurd-Wood is the perfect Luna. She's a very good actress (even if some people didn't think so, out of jealousy). If you don't know who she is, she played Wendy Darling in PJ Hogan's Peter Pan last year. I even signed the petition online for her as Luna. Also it'd be nice to think there's another great and way BETTER actress than Emma as Hermione (whom Steven Kloves has a crush on). If Rachel were to play Luna, it'd be awesome. She's British, she's blonde, she's got blue (sometimes green) eyes, and she's a brilliant actress.
Besides, I think Luna's got a crush on either Harry or Ron... It'd be sooooo fun to see Rachel steal one of the boys' attention from Emma. Har har.
A lot of people are comparing those two, Emma and Rachel (if you've no idea)... I even made a website about it.

But alot of people would be angry at me if I even got the part..like they are/were about the guys who played Sirius and Lupin..annoyingly,theres alot of fans that don't like people who don't look the part.
But thinking realisticly..I saw this pretty girl on the street that would make a great Luna

Going back to topic tho... I honestly feel that Luna should be played by the prettiest blonde American young actress. The Brit accent can be faked easily.. even Kirsten Dunst in Spider-Man 2 was able to pull it off (the scene where she was acting in a stage play).
She would be so much like a "cool breeze" for the HP cast!
And I agree with what Shanie said, it would be good for Emma to have some competition. And if it happens, I hope our American girl and my ickle Ruppiekins will get together for "real"

i really want 2 play luna sooo bad! but i dont luk nefing lyk her and i dont fink ill b good enough,i liv all the way in wales so my aunt wuld have 2 tke me cuz shes the only 1 in my family who nos her way round london and she doesnt approve of me auditioning at the age of 13 :-( 98% certain that i wont get the part and my aunt then would just be really snob about it...wot shuld i do?
