Naruto is what 17? Him being stronger than a sanin is bullshit. but I can ignore that as long as he doesn't beat Pein 1on1. I didn't see that happening before, but now it seems it may be setting up for that, I hope it doesn't go that cliche. but I still think Sasuke is going to show up before a winner is determined.

Naruto was able to use Shadow Clones to assist in his training, and fact is, Naruto IS more talented than Jiraiya, although I admit he should not have mastered them in a week, at least not to a level higher than Jiraiya has.
I know. Still, he compressed Jiraiya's... what, twenty years? INTO A WEEK! And now he's about to whoop the ass of someone who pwned everyone in Konoha easily and has city-destroying power. Oh yeah, and said person is also fated to change the world and has the power of basically the god/founder of all ninjas. Yeah, that would not be PIS at all.
Fact: If you wrote a character in a fanfic who easily eclipsed all the existing characters and duplicated their powers in a week, you WOULD get laughed off for making such a ridiculous Mary Sue.
there's nothing wrong with noruto being strong all of a sudden..he's the child of prophecy..the one that is destined to save the ninja world..no one said anything when neo from matrix get strong all of a sudden..
Anyway, the whole "get impossibly strong in a short amount of time" dealy is a staple of shonen main characters. Ichigo, Goku...uh...ichigo...they all have done that. And I'm sure it's gonna happen again.
Will Naruto be able to beat them?I think he'll almost do it, but someone is gonna interfere. If Kishi had any balls it would be Sasuke, but we all know he's gonna stretch out that fight for as long as possible...
Itachi never lost a fight in his life until the Sasuke one...and he was weak then.

Yes, Naruto IS stronger than Kakashi by Kakashi's own admission. Naruto has been power amped beyond even Jiraiya's sage mode.
Looks like he has Tsunade's strength (if not more so), what looks like Kakashi's speed, his own Chakra levels, and a scrappy fighting style that Kakashi has called genius in it's own right.
I'm having a hard time seeing Naruto as weak in anyway. You do know that this is all about Naruto being badass, right? That's the whole point of the manga...average idiot working his ass off to beat the bad guys and make friends.
And Naruto did the rasengan in, what?, a week. Something that took the 4th a year or more and Jiraiya a year or more to do.

Itachi massacred his entire clan. He became the fuggin' Anbu leader at like 11. Kakashi did things similar.

Also, I was the one whining several pages back about Naruto needing to come back and wipe the floor with Pain.
Now, it was soooooooooo PIS for a young man in his early 20s to become the hokage and defeat Madara, the super duper Sharingan user who had the Kyuubi with him. That's just retarded. I mean...geeez.
I mean, Naruto is soooooo weak and has no feats to his name. It would be sooooo PIS for him to beat Pain, even in sage mode.
Yeah, if Kakashi and Jiraiya had figured out Pain's technique and ability faster, I'm quite sure they would have been able to beat Pain or at least killed off a few before running out of Chakra. (Well, Sage mode....would be hard to run out of Chakra...I don't know if the user ever does as long as he keeps collecting it from the world around him...like a spirit bomb...teehee.)
The point is, Naruto is strong, he's a genius even among geniuses, he's a very loyal and kind person, and he always overcomes the seemingly impossible.
If you missed that, then you haven't been reading Naruto, any of you, and are missing the point of the entire manga. Which means you should stop reading it if you're going to whine about the main character doing the obvious and what was supposed to happen after literally hundreds of chapters.

Naruto is strong yes. And really i have no problem with that cuz its his manga. Him getting so strong in just a few weeks is ridiculous as well but still its his manga so i understand that as well. However, with his current techniques, there is no feasible way he can defeat all six pains without some heavy PIS. He is heavily outmatched in practically every department. Pain was way too overpowered

It's not a sure way just like it wasn't a sure way for Jiraiya. They still don't know all of Pein's abilities. And even with all of Naruto's powers he has never been that great of a fighter. He's just been able to trick the opponent and get that one lucky shot in most of the times. Though he's also always fought one guy. This time he's fighting five people, all stronger than his own master, along with Konan who isn't really known. Each with all different abilities also. One that absorbs chakra attacks, one that can deflect any attack away, one that can summon huge animals. Without Pein being severly weakened and unable to do that stuff how is Naruto suppose to actually get a hit in? Sure he can destroy like three bodies but two of the others working together should be just about impossible to beat and he'd actually have to get pass the last bodies summons to get to her.
The only way Naruto has surpassed Jiraiya and the 4th is in their techniques. He completed the Rasengan and completed Sage Mode. Unless Naruto in a week or however long with Sage Mode became > 4-tailed then there is no way he's more powerful than normal Jiraiya much less HM Jiraiya. Though this match probably won't really give us a really good gauge after Pein's attack that leaves his strongest body weakened.

Dunno. But either way, you're reading the sentence wrong. Saying that he hasn't seen this much chakra since Naruto doesn't mean that Kisame does have the same amount of chakra as Naruto does. His point is that he hasn't seen an insanely high chakra capacity like that except for Naruto's.
Naruto hasn't been lucky. Not lucky at all. He is literally a fighting genius as said by Kakashi. That can't be denied. Naruto won those fights through pure effort and intelligence. He's earned everyone of his victories through very hard work. He didn't have something like the Sharingan handed to him.

Naruto, in a flash, destroyed one body, it didn't move out of the way even though the other Pein's cold clearly see ahead of them, and the Pein's did nothing to stop it. Shouldn't the same rules apply to Naruto as it did Jiraiya? Either Naruto's speed is significantly greater for even the extra eyes to help each other dodge, or it was PIS.

It's one or the other. I'm going with Naruto being that much improved.
On another note, do you agree that most to all current and former members of Akatsuki were at or above Sanin level?
I feel that him beating Pein is not so stupid when you consider
A) Pein is weak now from using that technque
B) Narutos Training is more like a week mulitplied by mass kage bushins.
C) The scrolls that Naruto is carrying should become a factor in this fight.
