no his mother and father were killed by the kyuubi. also, naruot's jutsus and fighting style as well as mannerism is said to be like his mother while his looks are those of his father. if thats true than kushina wud have been badass.
His mother would have been a sloppy fighter without the high level of chakra and ability to spam jutsu or the healing. I like Naruto for his personality but he's not that great of a fighter. Wasn't Naruto a newborn when Kyuubi attacked. It would be kind of hard for her to be out fighting.

sloppy fighter? dont forget that naruto had surpassed sasuke right before the end of the sasuke defection arc. and that was without the kyuubi. he defeated gaara and shukaku and neiji. he also became a lot stronger in shippuden. and his jutsus and techniques truly are great if you list them all. its just that he hasnt been given the chance{other than 4 tails} to really have an all out extended solo fight against any1 in shippuden. ofcourse, it is pain's job to defeat him so that fight must be coming up in a while now that sasuke's is over {and obviously sasuke isnt going to be defeating madara just yet}.
Beating Shukaku by heading Gaara awake does not make a skilled fighter. Beating a Gaara who doesn't have his shield protecting him does not mean much when Gaara's a wimp when it comes to being hurt since he's never really been. Besides Lee nearly beating Gaara who had the sand shield was more impressive to me. Beating Neji was from tricking not being a great fighter and because of Kyuubi. He surpassed Sasuke in power not skill...and I still say he's pass Sasuke in raw power but power does not make a skilled fighter. His mother wouldn't be able to pull off half the feats he does in his fighting because it relies on kyuubi not his real skill if they are as skilled as each other. And sure Rasengan or any of it's variations and Shadow Clones are great jutsu...But how does that make him a great fighter again?

Yes but how much of that record is because of fighting skill and not because he can take a lot and keep coming while most of the time also spamming shadow clones?

The shippuden movie has been subed by dattebayo and you can download it now. Although it might not be it knowing what they are like, thought some one would like to know.
The only redeeming quality of movie 4 is the action which even at best seemed a little to, choreographed if you know what I mean. It was deffinatley better than the third movie but near the end It all got confusing with some weird time travel stuff going on I still don't understand which kind of made me lose interest. Rock Lee had the best fight scene lol.
