Haha. Torque was awesome. No, actually not awesome, but surprisingly decent.
I thought it was going to be so dreadful though. The opening sequence, which is supposed to draw the audience in, was just ridiculous. The cheesy dialogue stayed in the film throughout, and the impossible stunts started towards the very end. It was funny, because I actually thought to myself "They haven't done any impossible stunts yet" and then two seconds later two guys jump on top of a train, and ride the top of it. And from then on, it was all fake.
Jaime Pressly has never been more slutty, and I think that's saying a lot. You can decide yourself if that's a good or a bad thing. The ending is like a complete video game, which was okay. It didn't looks a bad as in, say, The Matrix Reloaded, only because I was expecting less in Torque, and I know the budget was way less.
So the dialogue is so bad it makes for some good times, and the action, while sometimes does not entirely work, works well enough for the most part to be more than enjoyable. B.
