The Percival Brothers were the three brothers who [as legend tells it] walked across a bridge where Death was hanging out, and since death was feeling benevolent that day, decided to let the three wizards each pick a gift that they thought would help each avoid Him until their time to die.
The first brother picked a wand - the Elder Wand. He asked that it be more powerful that any other wand in creation, and Death made it so. Unfortunately, if you advertise the fact that you've got Death's wand, everyone's going to want to have a go at you, and he was killed in his sleep, while the killer took the wand for himself.
As told, the wand traveled from person to person through the years, making a trail of violence. The last person to own the original Elder Wand was Albus Dumbledore, but Draco Malfoy's wand "won" over the Elder wand, so it became The Wand. After Harry's wand "beats" Draco's, he becomes the holder of the Elder Wand.
The second brother asked for a stone, which, when turned upside down three times, would allow him to see the loved ones he lost. If he was among the dead, this wizard thought, then Death would never find him. This brother had many loved ones in death, including his wife, and he grew ever more frustrated that although he could see and talk to them, he could never hold them. And so he was driven mad, and killed himself to be with his loved ones. The last known owner of The Stone was Marvolo Gaunt, from whom it was stolen by Tom Riddle, who became Voldemort.
The third brother chose the most wisely. He asked for an invisibility cloak that would never fray or need re-spelling. For the rest of his days, he wore the cloak, and so Death never found him. Then, at the end of his life, he removed the cloak, and he greeted Death as an old friend, and died peacefully. The most recent owner of the Invisibility Cloak was James Potter, who was a descendant of the third brother, who, upon dying, intended it for his son, Harry Potter. Albus Dumbledore was in keeping of the Cloak, and Harry received it as a gift on his first Christmas at Hogwarts.

Okay, here we go. Still on the Hallows theme.
When told the story of the Deathly Hallows, Ron, Hermione, and Harry are asked which artifact they would've chosen.
What are each of their answers?
