to make it easier for people to read:
Brosnan's latest bio on his official site piercebrosnan.com states he will be returning in Bond 21, set for release on November 18th 2005

"To the delight of Bond fans and at the urging of Bond producers, he has agreed to a fifth film as 007."

The statement was made on Thursday 4th March 2004, well after the recent `Brosnan axed` tabloid hype.

I hope this settles most things now

you know that girl in the first post? she's not a bondgirl, she finally realised it:

"Six months ago I came to know that the filmmakers of Bond movies were looking for an Asian actress so I approached them through my agents. At that time the script was in the air and nothing was finalised. The script did not materialise so the role did not work out."
