This movie was so awesome.It brund tears to my eyes watching it.Cuba Gooding Jr is OSCAR worthy in this role.If you want a good movie to watch and while watching it you KNOW your not wasting you time ygo BUY this movie.The whole story of this mentally retarded person and this coach`s friendship is just hearttouching.

I didn't think it looked that great based on the promos.............Cuba just seems like the wrong guy for the role.

Based on your review.........I shall now check this movie out. I was going to skip it but I'd hate to miss a good movie and not even know what I missed.

I cant see anybody else playing the role.Cuba was so perfect for it.His performance is one of the best ive seen all year.

It was a "nice" movie, as are all Disney-esque "based on a true story" type deals. Nothing Oscar worthy.

i just saw this movie a couple of days ago and i thought it was a very teary and heartfelt story to watch unfold. you're right, it wasn't a waste of time after all. to see people befriend and learn from radio was touching. it was so nice of the coach to give radio more of a life than wandering the streets and watch his team play football all the time. at the end of the movie, they showed the real radio and coach. it's pretty cool to know that they're still around and helping, reaching to people out there. i give radio two thumbs up and five stars. i also agree that cuba should win an oscar for this. has this movie won any awards yet?

I agree,definetely a 4 star movie.I guess this is where I should have put my review of it when I made a thread about this movie instead of the general movie discussion thread because I got no replies out of my thread when I did.Yeah this movie should win some oscars.I hope Cuba Gooding gets best performance award.Too bad the real radio coach died recently.I was hoping to meet him someday in real life. sad
