I am a person who has experienced what it is like to record in recording studios. You don't understand how hard and how frustrating it can be. Not only did Napster rip off Metallica, they ripped off newer bands who have no money!!! With Metallica being rich, they helped these new bands out. Besides if you wrote a song and you were ripped off, wouldn't you be pissed off!

well it is just the way of the world and the cd prices are to high cause the bands anfd record companies are to greedy. So the Napster thing was kind off a slap in their face, too bad about new bands though, but there always gonna be victims.
Metallica was conserned about their dropping cd sales, might have been other causes to their dropping sales.
I only accept the original stuff in my cd shelves.
When on holidays; I have no problem burning stuff, this way I spare the originals from getting left behind and so on...
