Cerebral Hemisphere!

Well, I'd like to ask a question to all the english/american people in this forum... I'm doing my english homework (I'm from Greece stick out tongue

) and there's these two words I have to use in a sentence that will show clearly what they mean: Cerebral Hemisphere!

Since I've lent my dictionary to a friend, can someone post their meaning? Thanks a lot!
