no freddy played a trick on jason so he would make the childen make them fear him witch makes jason a tool for freddy. And when freddy was strong enough freddy tryed to stop jason but jason the strongest mofo around could not be stop. there fore freddy trick jason into thinking that freddy was his mom. Cuz freddy knew that jays mom CAN only wake up jason from his sleep.
For pizets sake! the name Crystal lake is probably just made up to suit the Friday the 13ths, just like there's no Elm Street in Springwood. And Jason might have not have been dreaming, since its Hell Freddy might have had little power, as in the Novel it says that Hell is kind of putting Jason in a Crystal Lake illusion, not necesserely a dream.
Please tell me why you would want to see another jason vs freddy movie? One was enough, even though it was nice to see the icons back on the screen, ounce is deffaintly enough. Just as 3 nightmare movies were enough, and 2 13th movies were more than enough
Kelly Rowland's acting, however, was no spoof. This film suffered from some of the absolute worse dialogue ever contrived for a horror movie since "Skinned Alive". Luckily, the majority of it went to the token black chick who can't act.
I guss you could be right but there is a Elm Street in Michagin cuz my x g/f live on that street.

I think they did a good job makin the first freddy vs. jason but they caould have done better like there wasnt a lot of flaws but there was some. when they do make the next (ehich they are i hope that they do a lot better with everything!!!!!
I just got word that Monica Keena (Lori) has signed on to do Freddy vs. Jason 2, and in an interview with Bruce Campell he was asked about Freddy and Jason vs. Ash, the guy asked if he knew anything, and Bruce replied with "Shadowy truth, watery truth" and also New Line Cinema has made a 20 page script (I know its short but I don't think its finished) on the sequel and it does indeed involve Ash!
Also Asonkja Ruegerka of course it needs a sequel!
You must be mad to think there shouldn't be one, and I'm glad that theres more then 3 Nightmare movies and more then two Fridays, Freddy and Jason wouldn't be considered horror icons if they only had that many movies and wouldn't be all well known, also if they only had that many movies then there would be no Freddy vs. Jason, but if there was which there wouldn't be then Jason wouldn't have his hockey mask because he didn't get that until part 3, and Jason didn't die in part 2 he survived. See what I mean?
I don't want to be full of myself but I think that I just made an excellent point.
I don't make movies, but this is just a hunch: "OK, NOES is worn out, so is FTT. There are way too many sequels and most of our audience can't count that high, much less interpret roman numerals if that was the case."
So this is a way for then to start "new" with a fresh idea and build that up to many sequels, sort of a re-hashing. Once they get up to eight or nine sequels of FVJ most of the original audience will be either too old or too dead to care. Just like FTT.
I don't think that will happen. F vs J should have been the end all be all, and even huge fans of the franchises want to draw the curtain on 'em.
Freddy & Jason have to die someday. It's about as inevitable as 35 year old NOES fanboys having to move out of their mother's basement. It's just gotta happen.

I think the Nightmare on Elmstreet series is very close to death, Friday the 13th however....I dunno.
See, the difference is this: Freddy pretty much HAS to be played by Robert Englund, he is freddy and as soon as he doesn't want to play the character anymore, the series is dead. However, anyone can play Jason, as shown throughout the series. Just find a big guy and put a hockey mask on him and you got a bonefied Jason Vorhees.
I can see the Friday the 13th series going on for a very long time.
(I rented Jason X to watch today, so I can form a better opinion since it's been like 3 years since I saw it last. Just thought I'd throw it in there.)
I think that "Friday" is going to get confused in it's own franchise.
When exactly is "F vs J" taking place? I think Evil Dead said it was somewhere in the last 1/4 of each characters franchises. The thing is, "F vs J" was careful not to date itself timeline wise, aside from the rave, and teen plastic surgery references which puts it anywhere between say 1994-2004. That's being generous.
That said, "Jason X" takes place in 2455. For those of you that haven't seen it..
[SPOILER - highlight to read]:
Uber Jason plummets to Earth 2, and his mask is seen in the bottom of a lake
That said, if there IS an actual Friday" Part 11, for continuity sake, it would have to take place on Earth 2, in the year 2455. That alone just sounds way too silly, given that once again, they would have to find a way to resurrect Jason, although his entire cavity was incinerated when re-entering Earth's atmosphere.
Or of course they could shoot themselves in the foot, totally abandon the "space" concept, screw any continuity, lose all credibility, go back to Crystal Lake, and do a friggin' PREQUEL!
Like I said, I hope the "F vs J" sequel isn't for a few years, and just closes the book on the two. Same goes for Halloween and Hellraiser. All these classic icons are getting tarnished by less than stellr sequels.
