Then prove he exists with fact and we'll all shut our mouths. Oh...
You're just pissed because we won't blindly (yes) believe in God and you have. Is that like when a kid really wants to go on a fairground ride and says there's nothing wrong with it, but won't go on it alone?
You won't accept that. That's what you won't accept. You're the most intolerant of us all.
well whoever it is for ID, the IDers say the same thing over and over again. Why? Oh, and I've never seen you prove anything. You just attack evolution because it's all you can do.
and your evidence on this is?
Or are you simply just making this up?

Except that most Christians (78% of America, in some polls) are not crazy.
They have no mental health problems.
They are normal, fully functioning members of society just like any other.
They have seen things in their life or in the lives of those around them that make them believe in the existence of God, and have seen nothing but circumstancial evidence of again, at best, an improbable theory of this worlds coming to being that is about ..01% chance of all accidentaly happening the way it has.
Thats actually rather rational thinking,... to consider the Almighty as an alternative.
However, I know you would LOVE for them all to be crazy, and try to compare them with the mentally ill.
"Proof " is relative.
Proove evolution. Prove there is no God.
The "evidence" you request is the people healed, the folks on the side of the road who are helped by strangers whose cars are gone when you look back (another interesting statistic, while not everbody believes in God almost 79% of people in a Gallup pole last Nov. said they believe in angels.), the people who have been given prophecies that come true, etc.....
My point was that such proof is obviously open to interpretation,.....
but so is the "proof" of evolution....
A.) cobbled together fossils of animals that no person has ever actually seen living and breathing
B.) carbon dating that is only 100% accurate up to 7,000 years. (curiosly enough, the time-frame that most Christians would put the world at.)
So you see, we are at an impass.
But this theory(evoltion) is new, in the last 200 years or so, and has been mired by innacuracies, false starts, and general statistical improbablity.
Creation however, and the existence of God himself, has been around and recorded by different people experiencing his power in different ways, for many thousands of years.
You read your book; I'll read mine.
(Between us, I trust my Authors credibility just a little more.....)
Many people who have hallucinations are completely sane, what's your point? That because Christians are classified as not mentally ill they can't hallucinate? Hallucinations can be caused by chemical imbalance, trauma, and a variety of other temporary factors that wouldn't deem a patient mentally ill.
Oh, I forgot, once you convert to Christianity, you're completely immune to mental afflictions that were discovered by science. Everything becomes real angels and demons.
It's impossible to prove a negative. It's up to you to prove there IS a God.

Yes and I'm sure you represent the few that aren't crazy..
like what things have they seen. Let me guess the DNA molecule? there's also a 0.01 percent chance of me becoming a heterosexual, but that doesn't mean that I can't become one, unless homosexuality is choice.
You have know credibility, your just another unintelligent bible thumper who has little faith in science, and is to afraid to learn about teh intricacies which entail being an evolutionist.
Go to a descent collage and get a decent education, then come talk too us about evolution again.

its like a re-emergence of what happened in the early 1900's, wow it sounds weird to say that. the south is undoubtedly very attached to their religious ways, and they dont want any yankee scholars telling them otherwise.

I don't quite understand your point. Isn't the point of religion faith. In theory, if you require the books and history and supposed "proof" that God is exercising his power upon the world, that doesn't really make you religious, does it?
How many people would start following Christian belief if an image of God came down and turned the moon into cheese? A hell of a lot. But that's not the point of Christianity. The church asks for blind faith, and that's exactly what is provided.
Atheism stems from the opinion of some that it really isn't better to randomly follow some religion's rules and structure rather than to be a good person without a promise of reward, go on living their lives without having to spend time in church, and if there is a God as claimed, being good is enough to get into "heaven". That's not to say all atheists are good, or that all Christians do good only to receive rewards; it simply means that in theory, that is what it should stem from.
By the way, did you just randomly pull that "[the odds of the] world coming into being...0.01%" out of your butt? Because if astronomy is correct, there are...well...way more than 10000 planets out there. Besides, that whole "majority makes right" logic is so flawed; the belief in the Almighty is just a far simpler (and I guess far more optimistic) way to believe the world came into being. Do people really want to think about the possibility of the energy from different dimensions lowering themselves into ours and becoming matter? Makes the head meat hurt.
Finally, evolution is happening as we speak. Mutations of viruses, bacteria and their like are occuring everyday. Those super-bugs you've heard of going around? Yeah, that's the result of bacterial evolution.
Teaching population genetics, inheritance and gene manipulation are different than evolution and are based on true science. Evolution itself is a flawed theory that causes more confusion than good. True science not flawed explanations for the unexplainable should be taught in the schools of North America.

Fact is, no one can prove that God exists, and no one can prove he doesn't exist. This is why schools should not ban the teaching of evolution. Banning the teaching of evolution tells me that the school believes that God created the universe. I ask them, 'Where is your proof?' Both sides of this debate, evolution AND the God theory should be openly discussed in schools, This will allow children to make up their own minds on what to believe, not what a school, or education department believes.

but evolution is a science and not a belief. Even if the schools will be debating evolution, if they debate the facts properly, everyone'll see that evolution is a better 'theory' than creationism.
