Ive Got A Funny Ewok Story
Constuction manager on the original Star Wars trilogy Bill Welsh is, or rather was my friends grandad so you can imagine the storys i've heard. One of them was as follows:
Obviously while filming ROTJ Lucas needed people to play ewoks. Not wanting to use children, because of lack of experience, insurance and other things, it was decided to employ a load of midgets to play the little furry tree dwellers. Anyway, when it came to the first day of filming in the forest, the ewoks couldn't be found anywere. Obviously distressed, the film crew went looking for them only to find them scattered around in bushes having sex with each other. Apparrently, when they turned up for the first day of shooting none of the ewok actors could believe there eyes, they hadn't seen so many midgets in the same place at once, and just couldn't pass up the opportunity!! aaaaarrrr poor little fur balls.
