A death row prison guard begins an affair/friendship with the widow of an executed inmate after the untimely deaths of both of their sons.
Another of those movies where you hate the characters on a very human basis but the movie does have strong character development and motivations. It shows the ugly/weak side of humanity and the stuggle to turn wrongs right.
Because the main purpose of movies is to tell a story..past that it's based on the what someone wants to get out of it..entertainment, another point of view.......it's up to the filmmaker and the movie goer.
I agree 100%, this movie blew! The only redeeming quality is Hally Berry getting nailed hard by Billy Bob...that is a great scene. Everything else in that movie was terrible.
saw this movie last year i think. so sad and depressing a bit. shocking when heath's character shot himself. the sex scenes...*sweatdrops*...i won't comment on that for now. lol
