lyrically, Talib Kweli
Truthfully I wanna rhyme like Common Sense
But I did five mill' - I ain't been rhymin like Common since"
-moment of clarity, jay-z
lol someone was tellin me about this track someone put together where the original emcee spits their line, then they play jay-z biting it in his own song and i finally found it on slsk the other night.
I think he's just making little references to his favorite artists. He's not purposely biting it imo. And that's only like 4 min. what about the rest of his material?

Yes you and I have been over that before but I wasn't talking to you. I was directing my comments to Point. And Kobe has to jack up 40 + shots for the Lakers to win? Good luck there. No team can be successful with one guy taking 40 shots unless every other player was put on the team to compliment it's star. Can't really say the Lakers are set up to compliment Kobe. It's a team game and will always be a team game. If the lakers think the only way they'll win is to let one guy jack up 40 shots, then they're not going very far at all.
and I said it before already. Kobe IS the best one on one player in the game, but one on one doesn't = Best Player. and Kobe being the best scorer? If second means best, then yes. But the best scorer right now is clearly Allen Iverson.

I wasn't being touchy, just letting it be known. And yea I ball. I just got back from playing like 20 minutes ago. I try to play some hoop every chance I get. It's definitely something I take seriously. I love to compete.

Dear Summer is a dope jam. I posted it here a while back, but nobody liked it. hh said he wasn't feelin it. But oh well, I dig the track.
So Jay just blatantly said he sold out because rhymin like common aint sellin records. Which is true, but where's the integrity? Just whore yourself out because it will sell, and don't spit your best because nobody wont feel it. It's that dipset generation. Give them a beat and people will be happy lol

juelz aint that wack. yeah i know the rhymes are simplistic... but they are straight to the point. and the nigga's flow is pure bird flu.
and camron is the only one holding NY down till that new nas drops or that Saigon album drops.
cam is fire, he's the richard prior of the rap game. just take a look at some of this bars:
"Shit, see it do react, HUD 6 threw me back, but few did clap
But I ate those, them shits was Scooby Snacks "
-get em daddy remix
"In front of sparks, body cops Dilano
Block away watch by Gotti and Girvano
It's la costra nostra, someone close approach ya
They'll toast ya gopher, bread loaf with shofer"
-welcome to new york city
"Shaking to bake, shaking the jakes
Kill you shoot the funeral up and Harlem Shake at your wake"
-down and out
"First pal up in the rare, I style up in my gear
Stallion of the year, medallions in my ear
Whips on my fists, houses on my wrists
Your budget on my neck, your spouse on my dick"
-get em' girls
As i said i would like to see him pass more but if the other guys cant make shots then what then?
40 shots is alot, but its not like he is averaging 40 a game.
Other than that i agree with it not being a long term plan even Kobe has said as much but the fact remains he has bailed them out plenty of times this season and until the team plays with some balls he probably will have to keep doing that.
We'll have to agree to disagree about Kobe and AI, i love AI's game but he doesnt face double and triple teams every game.
Just for the record i dont think Kobe is the best player in the league and we should really carry this on in the NBA thread unless anyone objects.

Honestly, a few funny lines wont sway me. I've heard some weak MC's say a funny line or two. I know Cam can say some funny shit because he's been doing that, but it still doesn't interest me. Juelz is the one I find the most annoying, I don't care what kind of flow he has. Now, B.I.G, he had a flow. and the rhymes to back it up.
