I saw another new one where jack says how did you get this number and then shows cars crashing and explosions so it is going to great with two 2 hour openers like last year on Sundays and Monday.
Okay i just watched the 4 seasons in a space of a month to catch up to you guys, let me just say this.
This is one of the best shows ever made. PERIOD.
I just dont think i'll be able to handle season 5 episode by episode over a period of 6 months. I watch a season in 3 days. great show, Jack bauer no need for me to say is the man
I got seasons 1-4 for Christmas....gotta love the 'rents. I've been able to hook my parents onto '24' too so that rocks. If the ratings stay up hopefully '24' won't cancel like Alias did....Alias season 5 is the last season. Boo hoo.
But the preview whatever thingie on the DVD....OH MY GOD it's WICKED!!!
I can't wait for day 5 to start, I was talking on the phone to a friend of mine and he was talking and the ad came on TV and I told him to shut up because I needed to watch the telly. He almost hung up on me.
But I can't wait.
Plus, I'm turning 17 on Jan 1st so it's all good for me.

I can't wait to see what the motive is this time by the terrorists that are going to be on the show. All I know is going to be non-stop action this season.
Fox has really found a way to make 24 look like crap, did you see the preview for the first two episodes. IN THE FIRST 10 MINUTES SOMETHING WILL HAPPEN THAT WILL CHANGE EVERYTHING, i mean are you serious? That is such a stupid way of advertising if you ask me.
and as for the FIRST 10 MINUTES i think President Palmer will be assassinated. I could well be wrong its just a prediction.
Actually, I disagree. Elisha Cuthbert is getting pretty big now, I'm guessing they're going to have to kill her off. The show would then gain more emotional leverage.
I don't like the advertising either but, if a series is truly good, it doesn't matter how it's advertised. No big deal, IMO.
so...this might be completely ludacris...out there, dead wrong, what have you...but im rewatching 24 on DVD and well, I see a strong emotional bond between Chloe and jack developing...any thoughts on the possibility of a romance between the two in this next season?

i certainly hope not. Sorry it just would not be good, Jack bauer has always been a senior to Chloe, his boss in a way. Chloe looks up to himf or guidance in a way.
