As hard as it is to believe, I too had a feeling Tarin had faked the whole thing. It was not a prediction by any stretch, but I just thought it would have been funny if he had staged the whole getting shot in the back. Lo and behold, it turns out he did.
The thing that made me automatically cry foul was the fact that Tarin had no gun throughout the escape. I mean, what the hell..
As much as we might bash Dana, a big problem lies in the writing. A few hours ago, she appeared to have emotional trouble handling her ex and his associate. Later she's seen choking the probation officer in a building full of government agents. She goes from meek and reluctant to cold and calculating simply for the convenience of the story. I can't go for that.
i can go for it because that is exactly how the producers wanted people to think about her character so when the twist came, unless people figured it out sooner, than like Mindset said Dana will be killed at some point during the remaining eps
Great, another freaking [SPOILER - highlight to read]: CTU mole.Hopefully her character will become more interesting now. Loved Chloe and her one liners this episode. Too bad for the young CTU agent. I wanted to see him grow as the episode went along.
Im sure she will get killed. It never goes well for the moles. Hopefully its Renee that does her in. Maybe a catfight before she kills her.
I agree. Some of those scenes were by herself and she didnt need to pretend. Also, if [SPOILER - highlight to read]: Kevin and the probation guy were a threat to her cover, she couldve had one of the IRK guys kill Kevin when he first showed up and the Prob. guy before he reached CTU. Also, couldnt she had helped the IRK guys get the rods out of the country in a similar fashion as she helped Kevin?
I think the writers are making shit up as they go along. They know how hated the whole Dana back up story is and they trying to fix it.

President Taylor is nowhere to be found. Renee just happens to be awake and ready for action. Hastings flip-flops between listening to Jack/Choloe and disregarding their input. On the plus side, Arlo is starting to grow on me.
Though I suppose it's for the best. I've read reports of this being its final season.

those reports are just rumors at the moment.. nothing is set in stone, besides those same reports say that 24 may wind up on nbc m so we just have to wait and see what happens
Yep I think you nailed it pretty good. Parts of this season I actually really enjoy, but it is ruined by the rest of it.
And yea the "rumors" are that the ratings no longer support the cost to Fox and if they choose not to continue with it NBC may pick it up. I would like to see it end, do a 24 movie to wrap up Jack's character and any other old ones and have it be done.
How would you guys like the film's format to be? Apparently, Kiefer expects it to NOT be shot in real-time. Other people argue that it should ALL be in real-time.
I'd say the first hour could be in normal time and the second hour could be in real-time. What say you?
it is, but if they somehow work out how to reduce costs then the show should return..
if/when the 24 live action movie is made it should be somewhat different than the tv show.. It should feature a brand new villain made specifically for the movie as well as a brand new threat.. Jack should also be more dangerous on the big screen than the little screen.. As for the format, I agree with Kiefer, the movie should not be shot in real time
It would definitely up his "cool" factor.
The only good thing about Renee are her breasts. When she was running towards Jack last episode, it was nigh epic.
