O yea i forgot to tell you that i totally respect that you don't listen to them or don't like them..I myself hardly listen to them and i respect your point of view and for those idiots that don't understand that this is a forum where people are supposed to express their opinion need to leave instead of acting like a lil prick...If you disagree do say so in a mature manner....*Sigh* (Kids These Days).....
I respect you both for your decisions. You both have very strong views on this, and i know this is a forum where ppl are meant to express their opinions, but that is exactly what ppl are doing. I'm not fighhting with either of you, but i'm afraid, that's the case here. And now I would like to express my own opinion on the sell outs idea.
Even though Reanimation seems to be a gimmic to catch the attention of Hip Hop fans, there could be more behind it then that. Maybe the members of the band are fans of the Hip Hop genre. When they were called Hybrid Theory, way back, their sound was actually more of a Hip Hop style than a rock one. And meteora, (i think) wasn't an attempt to sell out or become more popular or anything like that. Hybrid Theory was simply six guys with talent, trying to reach out to ppl with their sound and their lyrics. It, in my opinion, was one of the greatest rock albums ever, and it introduced an awesome nu metal band onto the rock scene. Meteora was just the same thing. The lyrics on each song are awesome (except for session, obviously). And can i just say Numb is the best song i have ever heard. Number 13 on METEORA, it's lyrics can relate to everyone at some point in their lifes. (OMG! I sound like i'm doing some sort of school report on the song!)

i like Linkin Park. theyre one of my fave bands Darth, what i dont see is: how they've become more pop than rock? cmon, nobody these days auctually has singing talent. obviously the chorus is not the same lyrics. please. and really if they're that bad then why are they so successfull?
ive stated in this thread before success has nothing to do with talent

yea...ummm.... HEZZY BABY, as much as i agree with the fact that LP rock... thats mean, alot of people nowadays have singing talent, my friend beside me right now can sing brilliant! but why do you say that???
Technically that's true loserib... But alot of labellers DO actually want talented artists. True enuff, there is a lot of marketing business going on there, but have u heard LP live? They kick ass! I aint fighting with you no more, i'm just saying. And, sorry, but i need to ask you this... What is with your name? (that sounded rude but it's not meant to, honestly!)

why exactly are tey so bad? sure some of the stuff sounds pretty alike but there not that band! and there not stamped out for teenagers or anything, there really not as bad as you make them out too be, and by the way, stinkin' fart... HA thats the saddest joke ever, my DAD says that
