The Magazine "Not For Adults" May 2004 edition has just comfirmed that Tobey McGuire has signed on to do 4 more Spidey films after Spider-Man 2. Each film will be commissioned for release within the next 10 years. It's not known yet whether the rest of the mainstream cast like Kristen Dunst or James Franco will be joining T.M. Probably yes, most likely.
6 instalments That sounds so cool! Plus this means we get to see some more spidey-kicking-his-archrivals-butts on the big screen! One villian i hope gets into one of these movies is scorpion[i was hoping to have his presence as the villain in movies 2 or 3[im not complaining about Doc.Ock or Venom being in 2 and 3 as a mater-of-fact im glad they got in]] im also guessing that HobGobblin will be a villain seeing how Harry Osborn could go the way his father went in movie 1. Who thinks Scorpion and HobGoblin will get in.

I read on a website that venom and Man-wolf will be in the movie heres the article i found:Toby Maguire and Kirsten Dunst are signed to return in Spider-Man 3 as Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson. With Spider-Man 2 due in July 2004, Spider-Man 3 should arrive two years later. There is now talk of the appearance of Man-Wolf and Venom!
If this is true then...
scorpion could have chance of getting in either 5 or 6.

Wow! 6? Last I heard they were only going to make 3. Guess it's different now. Gee, Spiderman 3 doesn't come out till 2007, so 3 more after that, hmm I wonder if they'll replace Tobey McGuire at some point?

One thing I would love to see is the Sinister Six vs Spider-man, Venom and Carnage (it would never happen but just imagine those three fighting on the same side )

Spidey 3 - Lizard introducing Eddie Brock (with the black costume on Spiderman?)
Spidey 4 - Venom (thanks to the setup in 3)
Spidey 5 - Scorpion (born out of JJ's hate)
Spidey 6 - Harry's goblin (make him the Hobgoblin please - Harry's Green goblin was freakin lame - and the characters behind Hobgoblin are lame thugs/bored businessmen - this would be an awesome change).
It would be cool to have the sixth and final Spidey be about Harry's final transformation into an enemy.
I don't think I ever heard them mention Brock in 1. I heard rumours that theres a brief glimpse of him in 2.
One thing I do know is - JJ's astronaut son is in Spidey 2. Let me repeat that, "his ASTRONAUT son". Astronaut. Space. ALIEN! VENOM!
It's a good sign that they are possibly thinking about Venom right now. Doc Conners introduction in 2 as a full blown character only cements my theory that Lizard will be 3 and Venom is 4. I had my doubts but seeing as Tobey has signed on for 4 more - this theory is now highly likely.
I wonder how they would adapt Venoms symbiote anyway? I doubt an alien would be seen as "realistic" (remember they ditched many of the "unrealistic" elements such as radioactive spider, green goblins costume) so I bet if Venom is in the movies - he won't be an alien. My bet would be he is a synthetic man-made bio-weapon - could have links to Harry at Oscorp. That'd be right up Raimis alley.
When a radioactive spider is deemed "unsuitable" for spiderman, how far do you think they'll let a freakin alien suit fly?
