Yers, I think you've missed something of immense importance here... so we might have to take our convo from the top
Basically, all the best mathematicians, theologians, historians, english literature people and maybe one other subject (I think Gloria did History or English) applied for this summer school, to get a taste of their subject at Oxford - but what it was meant to show was how their subject would be at any elite university.
I had never met any of these people before, and no one else knew any other person. Many people may end up applying to Oxford (I wanna go Cambridge), but that doesn't guarantee they'll all go to the same College... there won't really be a time when everyone will all come back together again Which is a shame
aaah, I missed that part. I thought you went to Oxford to get a feel of how things would be like there, a bit of preliminary studying, looking around, ... and that everyone there would go to Oxford anyway.
you don't know that yet and it might play to your advantage with that girl's broken MSN. Since you don't know if you'll end up in the same uni, having her phonenumber would mean that you can stay in contact eventhough she isn't in your uni.... it can never hurt to ask
I'm pretty sure I could get her number out of her no problem She offered my it, but I gave her my e-mail address instead. She also took a pic of me with her phone... looking back on it I should have flirted with her a lot more *kicks self*

well, it's easy to talk about shoulds and coulds, but you can still have time. If she lives nearby (or nearly nearby) you can still arrange a meeting or something, if she gave her phonenumber it gotta mean something... I mean, htat's already more personal than an e-mail
then you know what you need to do... how can you get into contact with her now? how can you build on that?
She lives in Nottinghamshire! I haven't a clue where that is, I'll check a map in a minute And I didn't take her number down, cos I'm stupid like that !
