The missing
Before I start the review (I hate doing the 1st post) let me just say that I believe Cate Blanchett can do no wrong. Any movie with her, no matter how bad it is, is worth seeing just because of her.I'm not saying this one is bad, because it is not.It is very well done and very balanced. A fresh way to bring a father and daughter together without that whole muchy stuff.
Now as expected the landscape is beautiful and Ron Howard uses wide shots really well. The photography also helps by being good. The night scenes are very well done. Love those wide shots of them riding. That helps hide the fact they are stunts but the landscape is so beautiful I dont care. But Ron Howard on at least 2 occasions decided to cut Blanchetts head The camera also shakes a bit too much at the beginning. For no reason at all.
The story is good and intriguing. The acting is superb. By Cate Blanchett, Tommy Lee Jones and both kids.
Overall it's worth seeing, definitely worth seeing.
