Sorry, just got into the Tsunami thing. So, Carnage looks the same but Venom is like the Hulk?

Eddie hasn't changed, and there is no Carnage or Cletus Kassady in any Tsunami title as far as I know. Venom is still Venom, he just looks different.
It began in Spectacular Spidey #1. In this version of the story, the symbiote can travel briefly on it's own, and is responsible for a series of serial killings in NYC called the vampire murders (or something like that)--also, the identity of Venom is known, and an arrest warrant is issued for Eddie Brock, who did not participate in the murders and knew nothing of the seemingly random selection of the symbiote's victims.
After it's solo excursions, the symbiote would invariably return to Brock, to suck him dry of adrenaline before abandoning him again.
So, yes, Venom appears different. So do Peter, Aunt May, and Eddie Brock. The arc is very good, and some of the art is downright gorgeous--it just takes a little getting used to.
SSM #s 1-5 also immediately precede the Tsunami Venom title--so I've urged people to read SSM's first arc before they start the Tsunami series.

Random question--in the Tsunami comics, does Robertson ever use webbing? From the pics you've posted, it seems that she just uses her symbiote to tie Spider-Girl up (is that what her names is?).

Not sure what Spider-girl you're talking about, and I see that no one else will field this Q--so again, allow me.
Robertson's symbiote has the same powers as the original, since it's a clone, but she's quita freaked out by the entire situation, and I don't think she ever really has taken advantage of the symbiote's power. Maybe if they hadn't canceled the series they would have shown her giving herself to the symbiote completely, and allowing herself to bond fully with it, just as Eddie did. Her complete assimilation and the union of the two would have made her almost as powerful as the original.

I may be a little late in saying this but, I like the realistic looking art this complete and utter distortion of beloved charaters is just truculent. I am an artist as well and draw as close as I possibly can to reality. If you goto http://scibott.deviantart.com/scraps/ you can see my piece of sh*t Dodge Viper.

Back to current topic. Cho and Crain rule! They must continue series' with them as lead artists.

Yo, scibott, what's up? Nice to see you in action again--I hope you know that I'm fond of you, so don't take this the wrong way when I say, all you manga-Venom haters can kiss my *ss, kiss Umbertos Ramos' *ss, kiss Francisco Herreras' *ss, and, while you're down there, y'all can kiss Sean Galloway and Skottie Young's collective *sses.
Now, BEAT IT!

Just kidding, but my "other" is not.

"YOU'RE ALL ENTITLED TO YOUR OWN OPINION-AND WE'RE ENTITLED TO OURS---YOU SUCK!!!"

I didn't say that I disliked the anime/manga style I just prefer the more realistic art. I wish the make a movie verison Venom that has nothing removed from the character, but most likely will not happen sad. And thank you for your compliment. I agree that all forms of art should be respected and encourage the artists for without them you would have no comics. All opinins should be acknowledged and respected.

"COOL. DO YOU FORGIVE US? SOMETIMES WE GET A LITTLE ANGRY WHEN PEOPLE INSULT OUR LOOKS. WE'RE WORKING ON IT. IT'S A PROCESS. BESIDES, WE LIKE OUR BIGGER, BAD*SS BODY."

Yeah. I feel the same way, and I'm always quick to defend my "other". Of course, i respect you opinion, since you actually provide some form of compelling reason or argument.

"WE'RE JUST FED UP WITH ALL THE OTHER PUNK*SSES ON HERE SAYING WE DON'T LOOK GOOD, WHEN WE KNOW WE DO."

I love opinions, and I respect that they're gonna be different--if we were all the same, what would be the point in interacting here? But an opinion with no reason is like a beach without water. It's not a beach at all, just a really, really ugly windy desert.

There's nothing to forgive, you didn't insult me.I'd like to introduce myself to blackwidowlover, I'm SciBott, that's about it. I have uploaded a vast array of information at my group. I also have some things going on;

Projects:
Updateing my cheesy website to all Flash ::fingers crossed::

Fanfic inspired fanart of the Symbiote bonding with Rouge from X-Men Evolution - Fan Fiction net "Ah'm Good but I'm Evil"

Modeling a human with Maya 5, might go Symbiote and host not sure yet, maybe if it's good enough I'll be hired to do the movie Venom, lol. I'll need really good textures/texture artist.

My above listed fanart and model will be uploaded to my Yahoo Group, with various stages in design. Oh-my-God! It's raining, it's actually raining. After a year long drought, it's raining! I can't believe it!

hrm, that sucks. Oh well, venom vs carnage will still rock. Oh, and i heard some people talking about venom and/ro carnage being in the next spdiey movie. Nope, he's planning on doing electro. He also said that he intends to go out of his way to never do venom in any of his movies.

I just thought of something; they can upgrade Venom and Carnage to a more modern audience/times by taking the hints of fans through use of the fan-ficton. Such as having the Symbiotes find newer younger more able hosts, and spark ideas/situations from there. Although after time you will run out of ideas, and eventually must create new characters.
