i hope not. Vin would do a horrible eddie brock. I mean, he's supposed to be a photographer from california! Also, i hope if they make eddie, they dont make him sound like a new yorker OR like an idiot, i mean, the guy might not be quite as smart as parker, but he did make perfect grades...

Now, mabey Carnage and Venom will be in the third movie. That might be why it will take until 2007. In that movie, Harry Osbourne might try to perfect the body enhancer (?).
Unless, Harry just becomes the Green Goblin or Hob Goblin right away, which would suck, because i am tired of the GG.
I'm not a wrestling fan or anything, but I think someone who really nails down the look and physique of Eddie Brock is the wrestler Triple H. He's got the perfect body proportions, and I bet if he cut his hair short and got the crew-cut thing going on, he'd look perfect.

while this topic is dead i will use the space to speak to myself.
even though i doubt venom will make an appearance in s3 (yea, i'm the pessimistic venom fan) they DID mention eddie brock in some scenes in spiderman 2
and i'm kinda blown away by the actors most of you picked to play his role. so far besides a wrestler whom may not act well enough to be on the silver screen, i read some names like vin diesel.
...vin diesel?? c'mon! so far in the spiderman movies you haven't seen any "flavor of the week" actors like.. oh, ashton kutcher. i'm guessing that if they decided to use venom in the next movie that they'd pick someone whom's personality is reminiscent of the character or who's had alot of experience (in movies). i.e., the incredible bruce campbell!!
p.s., i still can't figure out why sam raimi picked tobey as spidey... he always seems... drowsy. he kinda reminds me of that cartoon dog "droopy".

I will always use this amount of detail in my time and dates, minus the chart. Not just because I'm Military, but because it should be the only time table, not the primitive 12-hour bullsh*t. Also why have we (the U.S.) not converted to the Metric System?! Note, most of this is my haranguing, once again.
Because, scibott, most Americans can't even tell the difference between a silver dollar and a quarter, and they damn sure can't convert miles into kilometers.

I suppose that you're right badsymbiote, although had the government kept it's focus my generation would have grown up with it so, it would have made no difference. What happened to "only the strong survive?" Also I was lgoing through the "even more smilies" and wondered why this was there: ? It just perplexes me.

So stoked for Venom #17, and the Venom and Carnage series, and the new Rogue series, and something else, too, but I've been waiting so long, that I can't remember what it was. It was probably one of the Marvel Age Spidey or FF for my kids. Who knows? I'll remember--and I won't leave the comic shop without it.
Carnage- Jim Carrey
I think Carnage is a much more interesting character then Venom. Even though both are mega cool, you gotta love the insanity. Carnage is like Joker... but completly ruthless. Hell, he even teamed up with Joker in a crossover (Which was total BULLSHIT that Batman beat Carnage) against spidey. Carrey showed he could play the Riddler, and he's an excellent actor, I think he'd make a great Kassidy.
Other choices for carnage- Johnny Noxville or even the dude who played tidus' brother in the show, Tidus.
As for Venom...
Not enough big halfway decent actors out there. If Arnold didn't have the accent and was 20 years younger... sigh.
