@ yerss: no i havent, but other people in my house have access to the pc
@ raz, i ran a spyware thingy
it was just something caught in startup, i took it out and everything is fine

but..i run it, it finds. i fix. and then it doesnt change anything

Make sure you select the update option in spybot to catch the latest spywares.
Also, make sure you have the latest security updates from: http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com

I did some looking up ... there is a trojan horse out there named Startpage.4.AC that can be on your computer, it changes the homepage everytime you start up your PC
