okkies friends..here is a poll of 12 books that we can choose from for May's book for our book of the month club
I will leave this up all week..after we all vote, the most popular book wins for that month we start reading in beginning of June till the end of June with a thread that is solely for discussing for our chosen book.
also post you comments if you like on the books you have chosen,or have new ideas to proceed with our club.all thoughts are much appreciated

I think you should do new books that come out rather than old ones, so that the readers here can read modern books? Just a suggestion.

the readers of this forum suggest the nominations..some are modern some are classic, we are open to most books. some people might feel just the opposite of you and would like more classics...just be sure to nominate a book you think is suitable next month.

The Sil since it is the backbone for LotR. Some of the poems and songs in LotR came from the Sil. It's a good story, if it is a little dry and boring. Bets part though is Of Beren and Luthien.
