'The War Of The Worlds' Most Expensive Movie

The remake of The War of the Worlds is reportedly set to become Hollywood's most expensive blockbuster, according to UK newspaper The Sun.
The budget for the new movie will exceed the £110m it took to make Titanic.
Steven Spielberg will direct the film version of the classic HG Wells story about alien invaders and Tom Cruise will play the lead role.
However, neither will be paid any money up front. Both have chosen to take a 20% share of box office takings instead.
"No expense will be spared," an insider told the newspaper. "Spielberg wants to make it the film of the decade."
All this kind of reportage means is that the films will cost a shedload of cash - doesnt mean they will be any good.
BingaBonga, i'll be sickened if they cut out the first chapter!
I think it is the best open chapter yet to be honest. We didn't hear of Voldemort for over a year in POA and then BANG he's back and killing someone in the first chapter of the next book!
There's a rumor (based on what Director Newell said about the film that he's staying true to the book as possible) that the GOF movie may be 4 hours long, but with intermission. (Oh I really hope so!)
Anyways........... do ya all have suggestions on who will play the "Weird Sisters"? =) I'd really love a British band to play them. But I dunno. I'm so looking forward to the Yule Ball scene, but they said it will be drastically cut. Which means that the hint of Hermoine ad Ron fighting because of jealousy won't even be there... Geez....
