Side note: A little known fact is that Mr. Henderson didn't really die, as it appeared; but sadly, the knife wound made him go insane, and he was later known to dance around in the streets well into the night, and would tell anyone that would listen that "I'm Blofeld!!! I'm going to hold the world to ransom for 1 meeeeelion dollars!!!". In fact, he later decided to actually carry out this plan, but was thwarted by James Bond.
But this defeat only served to deepen his madness; and so he attempted to kill JB on the 10th anniversary of their last encounter. Sadly, this plan was again thwarted by Bond; and because of his ever growing insanity, the best that he could promise JB as a bribe for his survival was a delicatessan in stainless steel...
The REAL Blofeld was the man that survived in OHMSS. Following that defeat, he lay low for several years, eventually becoming a detective under an assumed name, with an odd penchant for lolipops...
