Harry Potter 3: POA Mistakes *movie and book spoilers*
Personally I was more than just a little disappointed with this movie.
I thought it was utterly horrible compared to the book.
There were also some huge mistakes compared to the book.
Number 1 [SPOILER - highlight to read]: Sirius and Lupin both tell Harry how his eyes are so like his mothers, and that it's the only thing that isn't like his father, yet in two scenes his eyes are clearly blue, and his mother's were GREEN
Number 2 [SPOILER - highlight to read]: His happy memory that allows him to conjure the Patronus in Lupin's office is when he got into Hogwart's, not his mum and dad like in the movie.
Number 3 [SPOILER - highlight to read]: He get's his firebolt in the middle of the film, and it has to be checked for jinks and hexes, not at the end with a feather from Buckbeak, like in the movie
Number 4 [SPOILER - highlight to read]: He throws mud at Draco and his gang, not snowballs
Number 5 [SPOILER - highlight to read]: Children are allowed into Madame Rosmertta's pub, that's where they get butterbeer, but are underaged in the movie, and only Harry under the cloak goes in
Number 6 [SPOILER - highlight to read]: And I think this is the most outrageous one of all! They left out when Gryffindor had won the Quidditch cup I don't remember how long ago they had won before, but that's such a huge mistake
Number 7 [SPOILER - highlight to read]: The didn't show anything about Moony,Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs. And they only showed one visit to Harry's to Hogsmeade, even though he made a few trips, and that's how Snape finds him with the map! Not walking around in the dark like the movie.
All in all a very disappointing movie in my eyes. they definately need Chris Columbus back.
[SPOILER - highlight to read]: Also Hogwart's looked nothing like the other two movies.
I forget if Dobey was in the book but he wasn't in the film.
Good news is that I thought the acting was marvelous
Gary Oldman (Sirius), David Thewlis (Lupin), Micheal Gambon (Dumbledore) and Daniel, Rupert, and Emma were wonderful
And apparently all three are signed on for GOF don't know about Gary or David.
I just hope it's closer to the book then this one and I hope that Mike Newell the new director is as good, if not better than Chris was.
And I still have my fingers crossed, that the DVD will have ALOT of deleted scenes
i know i sed bout those to my sister ... its rather odd that they jumbeled things about it would of been easier if they didn't cut anything out and kept it they way of the book ... mite of made the movie longer but alot more easier to digest
^yeah, all those things really bother me too...and i still really liked the movie, i just dont understand why they change something thats already so good!
i didnt exactly like the changes they made to the story but the overall atmosphere of this movie was a lot better. the kids were older and much more mature than the other two movies and that made a big difference. i didnt like the new dumbledore too much, except when [SPOILER - highlight to read]: at the end when harry and hermione helped sirius escape, they told dumbledore they did it and he said, "Did what? Goodnight," in an innocent voice and everything. that was funny.
Did u realise when Harry is playing Quiddich his number is 7 the same as david Backham's number in footie
and in the flying on buckbeak when he throws his arms out isnt that such a rip off from Titanic ("I'm the King of the World WOHOHO") Rip off
TITANIC RULES

Yup, yup,yup!
The third one seems to be boring, and to think I ran through the mall clutching brother, and a long line welcomed me. I was so impatient,i could not stop myself saying : "What's causing the hold-up?" when a person stayed too long in the counter.
