and then ... just a few moments before the beast could attack him, the lad used the Force-jump to jump out of the water onto a tree from wich he jumped to another tree, away from the water

SOMETHING emerges from the water with amazing speed. It is some ten metres across and five high, and seems to be mostly an unspeakable mass of scales. It seems just as comfortable on land as on water.
Giving a great roar, it shambls onto the land. A tentacle shoots out (VERY fast) and grabs for your leg, yerssot.

Chion reacts quickly. He runs forward, and with a generous one-handed swing of his huge sabre he slices one tentacle. He grabs another with his large left hand and starts to pull HARD at it, causing the monster to shriek in pain.
