Yet it looks like (from interviews and trailers)...that SCC does influence the movie...i dont mind either way..but that is the feeling i get when i read the interviews and watch the trailers
Well according to CHUD Linda Hamilton has apperantly confirmed.
At New York Comic Con Linda Hamilton told MTV News that she was in talks to do a voice over for McG's Terminator Salvation, but that they hadn't come to terms and that she hadn't yet read the material. It turns out that in the month since then she's definitely read it - right into the movie.
A source who has seen the film confirms to us that Hamilton's voice over is in the film, and that it works very well in context. Her voice over is not long, and it comes at the very beginning of the movie; the source compared it in tone and style to her voice over in T2.
Unfortunately that was all I could get - this source was incredibly mum about all other details. But that little bit of continuity - the presence of Sarah Connor - is going to be present in Terminator Salvation.
Yes ! Great news! Thanks for the heads up Barand .
Now, let's just hope that my namesake has given the thumbs up to appearing in the movie as well; after all, if he can find time to be in Sly Stallone's upcoming "The Expendables", then he should bloody well find time for "T4" !

Terminator 2: Judgment Day star Robert Patrick has confirmed speculation that android assassin T-1000 could return for Terminator 5. Speaking to Fearnet, the actor admitted that director McG had approached him about the possibility of reprising the cult character for a rumoured sequel to this summer's Terminator Salvation. "I’m interested. I was listening to him tell me about it... We saw each other and he talked to me about it, so we’ll see what happens," he said. "The sci-fi genre, and specifically that character, is something I’m very proud of. It’s what broke me out big to the world." McG had previously suggested bringing Patrick back as a "cell replication" scientist, saying: "Imagine seeing a 60-year-old Robert Patrick and knowing, 'Holy s**t! That's gonna be the T-1000, who comes back perfect, lean and the whole thing'." Discussing McG's contribution to the franchise, Patrick said: "I certainly can’t think of anybody to tackle T4 other than him right now. I think he’s got the energy for it and the passion for it. "I know he’s a fan of the movies. I think he’ll do a fantastic job. I’m interested to see what Christian Bale does with John Connor. I’m interested to see the whole setting for that. It’s a fantastic franchise." Terminator Salvation is released in the US on May 21 and the UK on June 3.
A digital representation of Arnold Schwarzenegger has reportedly been confirmed to appear in Terminator Salvation.
The governor of California recently said that he would not be filming a cameo role for the sequel, but would still appear if the technology made it possible.
It has emerged that a body-cast of the actor made when he first appeared in The Terminator provided the foundation for digital effects to bring his image to life in a cameo role, Variety reports.
Schwarzenegger has reportedly seen the footage and given director McG his approval for it to be used when Terminator Salvation is released in the US next month.
I reckon it wasn't half bad at all. solid 7.5 out of 10. Hugh Jackman nails the role, as expected. There's some really nice fight scenes and some crack up humour.
The only big complaint I have is that they shafted Deadpool at the end (or in the movie's case, Weapon XI). My only hope is that it's not really Deadpool but some gimp wannabe LOL.
Ryan Reynolds did a great job at the beginning as pre-Deadpool Wade Wilson, so I don't know why they'd go and destroy what Reynolds built upon lol...

I found the movie quite boring to be honest. Jackman was great, but I felt completely bored and not excited by the movie at all. I'm not even going to mention how many times I yawned. Anyway, back to all things Terminator...
