It's been 4 years since their last album, believe it or not, and the new one is a lot heavier, and a lot more driven. Alison said it sounded a little too political, but I didn't get that vibe. I could pretty much listen to anything with Corey Taylor. He's one of my all time favorite vocalists, and one of the best live performers I've ever heard, IMO. Anyone with the Slipknot "Disasterpieces" DVD can back me up.
