Every time someone new comes to the roleplaying forum, I hope things are for the better. But this "new-blood" just ends up sucking. Alot.
And yes, you DO want to post accurately, and with better grammar. But the thing is, some people who believe they CAN roleplay with description, do just that for about...2 posts, then it's all back to: "Bob blocked it looking angry his eyes had fire."
First, this whole title of 'noob' is rather stupid. I'm sure people will eventually open themselves to learning better roleplay. Then again, would negativity be all that there is towards people that seem to not be descriptive enough? Why not have say a thread that perhaps for those who would like to learn to roleplay better could go there? A few of the more expereinced roleplayers could perhaps help them and answer any specific questions. Instead of simply starting a very long chain of negativity, or loose compliments. Yes, some people do show improvement for a moment, but simply being argumentive when they drift to their old fashion of roleplay should only result in positive reinforcement. Or perhaps it proves they really don't want improvement.
Is it just me, or have the RPG forums gone dull? I mean, there are like no good RPG's that are open/have permission yet, and the ones that would've had great potential were destroyed by people who screw up and twist the storyline. For instance, back when The Perfect Warrior was here, it was about a genetic creature that could to amazing feats, and stuff. Some people turned it into an anime/Grand Theft Auto/Resident Evil thing.
Ush, ((don't know if he looks in here. didn't want to bother him by pm)) do you think you can take a look at a few rpgs that are getting ruined by a few people?
i think it's getting out of hand. they ruin the plot on several rpgs and it gets quite irritating.
that's why i don't rp much, because the rpgs that i like get ruined all the time.
the only one i think got ruined for me is the sith wars one in the star wars section. people were mucking around with force alchemy and force fireballs

I must agree with QuincE on this. I'm getting quite tired of RPing with some of the new people, in fact.
What use to be some awesome RPs, Fantasy Community, the Anime RPG, and The Perfect Warrior, have died or have been completely changed. I only RP a little now, and sometimes I consider not coming back.
"New blood" can be a good thing, but at the rate we're going, too many unexperienced players are joining and too many seniors are leaving. The senior RPers remaining seem to be trying to stop newbies from their: Bob: -jump- -slash with sword- u dead now, john! posts.
Tails x 20 is probably one of the better new members in this forum. He at least was willing and eager to change.
I honestly think that a social thread would be a great help. It wouldstop a bunch of spam and also allow members to advise their fellow members. Few people actual check this thread.

Yes you did, but there are other ppl (names will not be mentioned) who are not open to others advise and continue to RP in the Bob: -hit john- ha you bleeding -kick him again- i hate u -kick- -kick- form.
I have nothing against new ppl doing that. Vince and I actually started off that way, but when you refuse to elaborate it becomes increasingly annoying.
True.
Bob flipped off a buidling an slice two pleople up in tiny bits?
New comer example.
Good example.
Bob back flipped off a building, and he unsheathed his sword and sliced off the persons arm.
wow the same problems appear over and over again. When i first started under TigerEyes...there were always people who were sloppy and didn't care but you deal with it...but i must admit now the number of people is much higher and NO ONE ever pays attention to spelling so sometimes you end up with post that make no sense.
