i agree that if they insist on making harry a villian that they should have him pair up with the lizard and have him in the background and be the lizards cheerleader.....i just hope they dont try and rush things and try and do too much with too little coz none of the actors are signed for a 4th film...have harry go on vacation for a film and too and when he comes back than he can become a villian
i can tell you exactly who the villian is!!! MIDNIGHT PREMIERE RUSH!!! WHOOOO!!!!! but seriously, go see it yourself.

[SPOILER - highlight to read]: yea people who saw the moive know that....Superfly started this thread before the movie came out...even though the previews gave away alot of the film just the fact that the conners was in this movie got peoples hopes up...plus you can build up the story by adding morey chapters to the "story" like 1. dad dies 2. harry finds out pete is spidey...3. they can work on harry's charactor more and have him try to deal with what to do....stay loyal to his freind or avenge his father (not just jump into bein the hobgoblin) while this is goin on conners could become the lizard and be the next main villian in the 3rd flick or they could've have both of them team up and both be villians for the 3rd one but business wise this may have been the smartest way to do it becaus none of the actors are signed on to a 4th film and if they do decide to come back for the 4th film they have conners right there
they left the 2nd movie open for hobgoblin and conners could become the lizard in the next, also, JJ's son is an astronought so the venom sybiote could gome down on the space shuttle.
thats 3 bad guys they already have set up and could pull out at any momment, but most likesly will be hobgoblin.
i just found out there is no venom in the next one and that there is to be no venom because i also found out the studio is only planning to take the spiderman films to #3 the next being the last and the next being hobgoblin .........pff i wanted venom or carnage
wait who is the hobgoblin again is it harry osborn or was it jameson's son, i thought i remember him being a villian and it wasnt venom because venom is eddy brooke
the 1st hobgoblin was like a martian or somthin..i dont think he was from earth but the second hobgoblin was rod kingsley...he was a bank robber and stumbled onto one of the osbournses secret hideouts were he found all the goby toys and became the second hobgoblin
i think alot of people were hopin that they would have any villian besides another green goblin...i mean he was gonna become the next goblin eventually but like superfly said they could have worked on harrys charactor and had the lizard be the next villian...but there is a slight chance they both could be villians for the 3rd flick but i'm not gettin my hopes up
but lizard works by himself. just like venom. he doesnt team up with anybody he is just a 1 man villain . incasew your wondering. venom joined the insidious 6 because he wanted revenge on spidey for killing his wife. but doc ock (insidious 6 leader) only planned on humiliating him turing venom on the insidious 5
yea i never said that the lizard wouldnt work by himself..i've been sayin along he should be the main villian for the 3rd one but it dont look like thats gonna happen .....that mean they would have to work on conners charactor more and downplay harry and i dont think thats gonna happen
tho if this did happen (2 villains) they would have to explain how they became the villains they are and that would take up a chunk of the movie... i just don't think they'd have the time in it unless this would be their last film and they wanted to go out with a bang and make it longer. even though it would b pretty awesome i don't think it would really be possible because of the money. and if u were the script writer how could you put all that in and still make it a great film like their preceding film.

I really hope they don't make Harry the hobgoblin in part 3 cuz i think that will just be boring. I didn't really like the green goblin much. I think they should do the lizard. That would make for a better movie.
