A nice-looking guy, but I dunno... he looks too sweet, too nice to be Brock.
As far as 3 being it, 3 may well *be* it... for Raimi. He'll probably step down after 3. I find it impossible to believe that a franchise this lucrative is going to be allowed to die on the vine: if only to spawn other, new spin-off franchises. The first and most valuable one I can think of would be a Venom series. We want it rated R, we want of course for Spidey to cameo in it, and last but certainly not least we want movie one of course to be Venom's origin, and in the second we'll see Carnage's origin, hence the R-rating. There is no sense doing symbiotes with a PG rating: ask the folks who did Alien vs. Predator how well sticking PG ratings on evil, violent creatures works.
It's also entirely possible Sony might be dumb enough to do a Black Cat spin-off; I could totally see that happening. The failure of WB's Catwoman-In-Name-Only film may have hurt that, though. My feeling is, fine, do one... I do not have to watch it.
Three years is a long time. I'm definitely taking "no more movies after 3" with a grain of salt. Who knows if the exec who said that will even BE at Sony 3 years from now?!
i hope they have like a directors cut dvd with 30+ minutes of extra footage, like black cat talking with spidey...cuz the original spiderman 2 was supposed to have black kat in it but they cut it out to put full focus on Ock
and not just 30+ mins of them talking, i mean 30+ mins of extra footage to tie up any loose ends
Asking for an R rating to a Venom film is like asking me to shit gold. Yeah, we would all love to see an Rrated version of venom, but he appears in comics that posses PG and PG-13 material. I think sticking a venom flick with an R rating would lose it some money in the box office. I seriously dont think there is any reason to give venom his own movie. Why not just include him in a Spiderman film. Everyone likes venom so much, because he basically what Spiderman would be if he were a bad ass villian, this fact shines through when we get to see Spiderman duel with Venom. Now i wouldnt see anything wrong with giving Venom a movie unto his own after an appearance in a Spiderman movie, but to introduce him into a movie by himself would just be wrong, especially seeing how his origin and character was shaped around Spiderman. It wouldnt make any sense to give Venom his own movie.

i dont know if its been posted earlier in this topic, but in spidey2 at first they wanted to include black cat into the movie, but they just had too much story to put for doc ock and peters life so they cut her out, maybe she'll have a small part in the third film
they werent going to make it all about black cat, they were just going to introduce her characters (falicia hardy/blackcat)
sam raimi isnt one for directors cut dvd stuff on spiderman, i was thinking of a few supervillain ideas, like either he could have harry in the 3rd film just trying to fight off the green goblin alter-ego, or have him actually show up as the green goblin BUT add another enemy into the mix, it would be the first time where spiderman has to take out two enemies
at first i was thinking of electro as the 3rd films enemy, maybe have a little bit of shocker in there
good ideas, but everyone is still waiting for venom, plus electro was in the new animated series of spiderman, and so was the lizard, but spiderman never finished off the lizard...
Gender: Male Location: somewhere looking for trouble
I think if The Lizard is the villain in Spidey 3, then Harry should become the 2nd Green Goblin as well. If not go with just having Venom as the villain in Spider-man 3. Carnage can want until 4 or even 5, because Venom is cooler
-venom is probably not gonna be in the 3rd movie
-and if the 3rd movie ends the trilogy that means, that the 3rd film will be sort of a conclusion, and conclusions do not include new ideas such as the lizard, since that previous 2 movies did NOT have peter and connors do actual experiments together. so i doubt any eddie brock or lizard appearances, wat scares me is hoffman is going to help his brother with the script of S3
Gender: Male Location: somewhere looking for trouble
I think the Lizard will be a great Spidey villian..but I do have one complaint...is spidey just gonna fight one villian....I mean it's going to be a 3 year gap between spidey 2 and 3 instead of a 2 year gap....can't he fight the Lizard and someone else....vulture, shocker...someone else. I mean I think they could make a great movie where he fights two villians.
use babel fish to tranlate, but it depicts what i said before, visceral, to match spiderman skill and visualy? it can only be sand man? since venom is out of quote, but if they didnt discart him a month ago ( if they were not lying) i d say they want to please the fans, and it would be venom. wich would suck!
Since when does a water melon do any sort of sucking?
You, my friend, are a simpleton, and that post proves it.
I have only ever seen idiotic, stupid, inane, irrelevant or unreadable posts by you, so don't have a go at me if I tend to think logically about these sort of things.
