Again hardly the end of the fight. You guys are stretching it to make it far more then it was.
If raker was enough (ignore the first fight where ds badly owned him), why give up the fight? Why make all these concessions so the fighting stops and why give up raker?

For me the reality is this... DS doesn't have as good a track record against heralds as Thanos. I think DS is a powerful guy no doubt, but when you look at all their showings... Thanos' average is higher with less lows. That's how I see it.
Oh I'm not debating that. Didn't even comment who wins. What I was saying is that "shovel" scene wasn't as bad as it was made out to be. That's all. Current DS is to much of an unknown for me and Prior to his death pre final crisis he wasn't looking to hot
As someone with minimal interst in Comics. Thanos has appeared to be stronger than Darkseid from what I've seen. But then Darkseid fights with Superman so yeh there's that.
Also which one was made first because one is just a rip off of the other.
Darkseid was created first and he's only lost to superman about two times. Currently, he's powerful enough to solo the justice league, solo the Justice Society, solo and insanely amped Alan Scott, tank his own omega beams, destroy planets, etc.
You know the reason Darkseid was down was because he got the feedback of his own omega beams as Raker covered his eyes? Because earlier Darkseid casually owned him and crushed his ring with one hand.
Also shown in Orion 19 that Darkseid let him live for thousands of years when he could've killed him anytime he wanted.
yep. The only times I can recall Darkseid losing a fight (other than that doomsday showing) are when his beam hit him. Since his beams have been shown to hurt even the spectre, I guess it makes sense that they would do some reasonable damage to him. Also, it's for this reason that I consider new 52 darkseid to be more powerful than his pre flashpoint version (he's tanked his omega beams like five times already).
you sure about that? Flash barely outran them, superman got oneshotted by them, an insanely amped GL (alan) got oneshotted by them, and batman using the hellbat armor knew he would die if they hit him. The only ones thus far that have survived them include wonderwoman (a superman level character using magic bracelets), Highfather (a character that's on par with Darkseid himself,), and powergirl (a very high end showing).
Yes she withstood a buch of them after how powerful they've been portrayed (hence why I said that was a pretty high end showing for her) and I did look at the fight with alan (DS blasted him once, pushed him aside and left him to die). You can't possibly deny that DS owning alan while he's being amped by all of the Multiverse's earths and the Parliment with one blast and a shove is an insane showing.
