Let's kick things off with a bit about Irma Bunt...
"A West German actress with 34 years experience, Ilse Steppat's performance as Irma Bunt rivalled Lotte Lenya as Rossa Klebb but susprisingly it was her first English speaking role. Her voice was not re-voiced for the film. Director Peter Hunt remembers that her name was supplied by her agent in Munich and at first she was very nervous about the part. However she soon overcame her anxiety and became almost a mother to the twelve young actresses who were marooned half way up a Swiss mountain during the long location shoot in Switerland. Sadly she died soon after filming was completed but did live to see the finished film and was very pleased with the result. More importantly, she received great critical acclaim, which pleased Peter Hunt."

Here's a bit about Irish girl Jenny Hanley...one of the Piz Gloria ladies;
"Curiously credited everywhere as the Italian girl, on the actual closing credits of OHMSS, Jenny is listed as the Irish girl." Hmmm...bloody Italians...stealing our women...

These are tidbids (funfacts)... together with my own comment-smileys
Tidbids
This was supposed to be the last Bond film. ( )
It was said that Diana Rigg so disliked George Lazenby that she ate garlic before their love scenes. However, this has been vehemently denied by both parties. (can't blaim her )
Early drafts of the script had a subplot of Lazenby getting plastic surgery to explain the change in appearance. ()
Lazenby was originally offered a seven picture contract but refused. (fortunately )
Tracy 's murder was supposed to be the opening scene of Diamonds Are Forever. (interesting )
Ilse Steppat, who played Irma Bunt, died on December 22, 1969, four days after the film's release. (wooooooow )
