There's absolutely no reason for me to believe you.
I reported him, but as we all expect, I don't think they're gonna do anything.
Do you read?

Can you guys get back to talking about that Overrated band known as MCR?
This whole Two guys one personality/Fight Club/Evil Twins stuff doesn't really belong here...

I talked to both at the same time before. I am 98,7% certain they are not the same person.
It's really obvious, too...one of them is way gayer.
Christ, I've had enough of this shit.

MCR remind me of The Smashing Pumpkins. Except the latter had good tunes to listen.

Do you mean Gerard Way [physically] reminds you of Billy Corgan?
Can't see it otherwise.

Siamese Dream is my favorite album by the Smashing Pumpkins, I have yet to hear anything that MCR produces that can compare to it.

I guess in a way they both have the big mouths and big faces, but otherwise, not really. Plus they are both pretty pale.
They both look great with longer hair.

wow, this thread has gotten really off-topic...
anyways, downloaded the MCR & the Used version of "Under Pressure" by Queen, and although it can't compare to the original, I would say it was the best cover I've heard...just speaking my thoughts on music here...

I thought that cover sucked.
MCR just can't cover songs. Under Pressure sucked in my opinion, as well as Astro Zombies.
However, I did enjoy their cover of All I Want For Christmas Is You. That was lovely.

Yeah I agree with Selph....
Do any of you like that remix of "To The End" they made for the Underworld Evolution soundtrack? Cos I can't make up my mind if I like it or not. It's got NOTHING on the original version but it still sounds cool...

When I went to see Underworld 2, I was very excited to hear The End's remix, but I couldn't even hear it..... or I just didn't notice it, because the movie was pretty shitty.
But I finally did hear it on their myspace a while back, and I did NOT like it. They hyped up a passive song, which....I just don't like.
I've also heard MCR's cover of Blur's Song 2 or whatever, and I did not like it either.

Yeah you got a point. It disappointed me. I kept asking myself why they couldn't use the original. I thought that if it was cos the movie producers or whoever thought that the song wasn't good enough, they should've just dropped it, cos the song was too good for the movie anyway.
Yeah I've got all those covers and I don't really like any of them. Even though "All I Want For Christmas Is You" was pretty sweet, I absolutely LOVE "Desert Song".

Read an Interview with Gerard Way on Rolling Stone yesterday
http://www.rollingstone.com/news/st...usic_gerard_way
Was ok, mentioned The Smiths at least, two things annoyed or irritated me though.
"How would you describe the kids that love your band?
Extremely creative, intelligent, expressive and very individual, aside from liking to wear black. They come from all over the place, and in their hometown they're probably the only kid who looks like that, but when they get to our show they're all the same. "
Just, extremely irritating, anyone else feel that way?
"As a former drug abuser, how do you gauge the mantra, "sex, drugs and rock & roll"?
It's a dinosaur in itself. If we, as musicians, could evolve past that, maybe we could make something worthwhile."
That also annoyed me, just thinking about all the good bands (BJM, Velvet Underground, etc.) that make and made sooo much better music than him.
