I don't know why some of you are acting like babies so much. Spiderman 3 was a great movie. It was much better than the first two movies. The only part I didn't like was when Eddie Brock got caught in the explosion. It both unfair and sad. You people need to realize that kids also watch Spiderman movies and as long as they see their favorite characters, they're happy. All you comic book geeks who keep complaining about the smallest details in the movies need to shut up because millions of other people enjoyed it.

I haven't seen the entire movie but I have watched a few scenes on YouTube (most were the fighting scenes) & I think that this movie is better than the first two. I can't wait to get it on DVD. Hopefully there will be loads of special features & interviews.

Lol, that was a good fight, imo. Hopefully if Venom returns in SM-4 we'll get an even longer fight sequence between the two & we'll see more of Venom as a whole. I'd bet a million dollars that Raimi's going to include some deleted scenes with Venom on the DVD.

I can't decide because Spidey's fights with all three villains were great. But, I think that Topher Grace really delivered as Eddie Brock & Venom but if he's to return in the next film he needs to bulk up just a little more (probably about another 30 or 40 lbs of muscle). I was really worried that he wasn't going to do a good job but he did & I'm happy that Sam Raimi made the choice of having him in the film.

Me, too. Topher's only drawback in the film was his build. All he has to do is gain some more muscle, and he would be the perfect Venom. I wonder how Topher would look if he had the physique of a bodybuilder...

He'd probably have a huge body with a small head. But, if he could become more muscular than Tobey the next time around, then he'd be perfect. I didn't mind his build in Spider-Man 3 because he was half way there but in SM-4 he needs to be all the way there (assuming he's in the film).

I'm pretty sure that he won't bulk up to the point where we could barely recognize him. All he has to do is gain some more muscle in his arms, legs, and chest area. I just hope he doesn't get desperate and use steriods. He's too smart for that, though.

I wasn't saying that, I was saying that he at least needs to be bigger than Tobey & look more physically imposing.

Yeah, I guess you're right. I know that Topher can get buff. All he has to do is work out more and eat healthy. He be more muscular than Tobey in no time.

The problem is that he kind of stated he hates working out. This is part of an interview that is in Wizard Magazine:
Wizard: Now, you're a thin guy. What was the workout like to bulk you up for "Spider-Man 3"?
Topher Grace: It was awful. I've never worked out before, and I had to put on 20 pounds, which hasn't all left me yet. I mean, I'm a skinny guy, so it didn't look like 20 pounds on some guy that's already thick, but it is noticeable. You'll see it in the movie, and it was necessary, too.
Lol, it doesn't sound like he'd ever want to put on more muscle than he did in SM-3.

I remember that interview. Anyway, if Topher hates working out, then he could put on one of those muscular body suits. The person who portrayed Juggernaut in X-Men 3 had one on. Topher would probably want to wear one of those than to really work out. I don't blame him for not liking to work out. I work out every single day and it sometimes gets boring after a couple of hours.

Vinnie Jones was already in pretty good shape for X-Men 3 so even if he wore a muscle suit it probably didn't add much muscle to his body. Also, I never get bored from working out. I love working out because it makes me feel better & I'm trying not to get fat. Anyway, to get back to the topic at hand, Topher has two choices if he returns in Spider-Man 4: He can wear a muscle suit or hit the gym for a few weeks. I don't care which one he chooses, just as long as he gets the look of Venom more down pact so that he'll have everything he needs to be the perfect Venom.

Well, of course, working out for long hours is worth it when you get the results. Believe me I am proud of my results: chiseled 8 pack, firm quads, well-defined chest, etc. I'm not a bodybuilder, so I'm not really big and bulky. I'm just tall and muscular. Anyway, Topher shouldn't wear the body suit. If he wanted to wear the body suit, he should have worn it in Spiderman 3. If he works out even more for the role of Venom in Spiderman 4, that would mean that he really wants to play that role. It would be good to see all of Topher's hard work throughout the movie.

Lol, you need to tell me some of your secrets but I'll PM you for that. Getting back to Topher, I really believe that he'd look much better if he would work out & either have the same definition as Tobey or be a little buffer than Tobey. he doesn't look right being skinny, especially when he was in "That 70's Show." I hate it when actors wear muscle suits (like Brandon Routh) because it takes away from the experience in my opinion. I like when actors have worked hard to become the character they're portraying. Hell, if you're going to use a muscle suit, why be in that role at all? One person that looked absolutely great in Spider-Man 3 was Thomas Haden Church. You can tell that he really hit the gym & he really bulked up to become the Sandman.

Topher Grace in "That 70's Show" was great. It didn't matter that he was skinny because he portrayed a teenager. Anyway, I don't like it when actors wear muscle suits, too. My guess is that the actor must have had the right personality for the character, but not the right build. I guess if the person isn't able to have right physique in a certain amount of time, then a muscle suit would be an alternative. Personally, if a person has to wear a muscle suit, that would mean that he was too lazy to work out. Then again, if that person probably tried his best to achieve a certain physiqe but couldn't do it, it isn't his fault that he has to wear a body suit.

Yeah, that's true but for the most part only the lazy actors use muscle suits. By now any actor that signs on for a superhero flick should know that you're more than likely going to have to hit the gym.
