i think all movies are kinda the same...so when something truly unique comes along, we should appreciate it fully...i have no idea what i'm talking about...lol. yeah, they had their similiarities. nothing can comepare to lotr tho, of course...but troy definetely had some redeeming qualities.

I loved the movie. big grin

Basically, for Hector, Achilles and Priam. Priam had the best lines, when he met Achilles. That entire scene was absolutely fantastic.

There's nothing much that can be said at the moment (which has not been said before!) wink

I loved LOTR songs....yes

Troy music was ok...sounded very Hans Zimmer like, although it wasnt him that composed it.

Gladiator music is amazing.

Hey, i thought the movie was great, but i dont see connections to LotR... the soundtrack is different and the story either. I think some things out of the Ilias really happened...
The actors were great, and even orlando was acceptable.
@fanatos: Never heard that...but i didnt read the Ilias itself...only a book about it which was written for lil children laughing I only know of that friend which faoughtagainst Hector and died... his cousin?

the only link to LOTR troy had was getting like half the cast of it and it also just took half the cast of braveheart............. and by the way the movie was terrible, they changed it completely from the true troy story of the Illiad
