Ah, no I haven't seen any fight scenes yet. Oh well, I hope excellent gameplay and a juicey storyline make up for crap fight system and animation...

The Spider-man 3 game has been confirmed to be scheduled in 2007. And that is the same time the movie is coming. They started to make Spider-man 3 right after Spider-man 2. Or so I have heard, and Im pretty sure that that has been confirmed too.

They don't need a script to start making a game. There are so many other things to do in a game than just the storyline.

About Spider-man Classic. Yes...It has been confirmed by Activision. I am not allowed to send a link on this forum yet, so I will just say that it is mentioned on ign's site.

hey, I promise it won't be long this time stick out tongue . It seems to me if I was one of the VIP guys making the next spiderman game and I came across this site, obviously I would be influenced. But I don't think I would know which features are the most important to pick out for the next game. Right now all the ideas seem a little scatterbrained, you know what I mean (Especially on my part, lol). So i thought it might be a good idea if someone organized the good ideas and posted them up for Mr. VIP man. Whadda think? big grin

Sounds good to me. Ideas people.

We need ideas!

... Search through the previous pages of this thread, there's plenty of great ideas, many from myself. smile

Not to make this a rainy day for you. But I seriously doubt that it would make a difference if we send in these ideas or not. I have yet to see game producers that listens to their customers. Plus that it wont be as easy as it sounds.

This thread has a lot of ideas, and many of them will have to be detailed. Something like "We want to be able to pick up stuff like cars" just wont do with all of them. How will you do that when talking about "We want more Web-tricks"? If you want the ideas to be constructive and helpful for the Developers, then you will have to go into details on How and What. And then people will probably keep putting a little extra to the already listed ideas. Making many of the ideas end up to be 4-6 lines each. And its a forum not a live chat. People will pop by from time to time, not every single day. It will take a very long time just to gather the ideas. I don't know who would do that?

I'm not saying that we shouldn't do it, or that it will be a bad idea. All I'm saying is that it will be a very large project, that most likely will be in vane.

True. If we're gunna say what we need then we need to be specific. We can just say, "More buildings to go inside" or "More parts of NY to explore" or "Landmark tokens".

We need to go into a hell of alot of depth with point and request that we produce.

As long as they have more villains in this game and cameos from other super heroes like the FF, daredevil and maybe the punisher. That would be cool.

In the cartoon The punisher trys to kill spidey cause Spidey gets sick and turns into the man-spider!
So cool. They should add that in as a game bonus!

... the list of villains I'd like to see:

1) The Lizard

2) The Sandman

3) Green Goblin (Harry)

4) Micheal Modbuis

5) Wolf-Man

6) Rhino

7) Shocker

8) Vulture

9) Kraven

10) Mysterio

11) Scorpion (over a long period of interesting levels)

12) The Kingpin with The Camelion.

... I know that's asking alot, but who said the game couldn't be spread over 3 or 4 disks like some games.

More cameos:

1) Black Cat

2) Daredevil

3) Fantastic Four

4) Maybe some X-Men wouldn't go a miss.

5) Blade?

6) gotta have the Punisher, you just gotta!

7) Prowler

8) Ben Urich

And what about a bigger city with EVERYTHING that NY really has, every little detail. More veriaty of civillians.
Loads more mini missions, aswell as all the old ones.
Ability to swim.

I don't know if you guys noticed, but on SM2 you can go to a large factory on Roosevelt Island and stick to the end of the pipe on level with the sea, that is grated over - that's just asking for a secret hidout location!

Interactive buildings, each time you enter a building it's like a maze. Oscorp and The Bugle should be huge complexes that you can spend hours exporing.

More to do in PP's apartment.

Obvious movie tie ins.

Landmark tokens on word famous buildings.

All the surrounding islands + Queens to explore, with min games on Coney Island.

... I'm getting bored typing out my ideas, so check back over the past 3 pages, there's plenty of ideas there...

Hey guys,
I want to ask you guys something. When you are dinking around with spidey in the city, do you like doing regular crimes more or do you like doing petty crimes more? Please reply.
The reason i ask is because i do almost twice to three times as many petty crimes than regular crimes because it makes it more REAL to come across a crime than it would be to have to go up to a civilian to make one MAGICALLY appear for you. Its almost as if you ASKED them to create it for you. Thats just dumb right there.
I want to be swinging around and come across a REAL crime. Like you are actually a HERO. I want to come across a burning building. If i want to do something about it, why not just push a button to activate the scene.

Ok, heres how it would go: Youre swinging around, all of a sudden there are two red question marks. One is in the upper left(or right) hand corner of your screen showing you have a crime you can do, the other you can see in the city (just like a civilian in distress). You push the z button (gamecube) and all of a sudden you enter into a short movie clip showing what is going on such as a burning building and BAM! the time starts and youre on your way. However if you get too close to the red question mark in the city, it goes away and a new one is somewhere else (this eliminates being there when you start the time so there is no cheating).

Sound good? Let me know.
Later

...Sounds good to me. I'd like to still play the old crimes from spidey II, but your idea sound cool aswell. Maybe Activision can do both...

i think u should 1 get pair of soidt gloves wich allow u to web zip wall crawl web swing punch grap slap toos ext..

and 1 pair of spidy boots.. wich allow u to jump kick run walk run on wals ext

nd lets not forget the most important things..the spidy vision virtual reality glasses

Yeah that will be what happens for sure! stick out tongue

It might be cool, to some extent. But I would much prefere the good-old gamepad. I'm afraid that virtual reality will glue me to the game, so I will loose the fun in real life. plus I would feel like an idiot, standing there and pointing with my gloves. And you cannot show it to your friends in any way.

Heh! I would scare my girlfriend away if she knew I had such a thing. So if Spider-man becomes virtual reality, I wont buy it.
