Very true, Terminator 1 like you said solidified it and Terminator 2 made sure he didn't lose it. Terminator 3 let him temporarily leave the business respectively.
That's generally how action stars are. That's why they CALL them that as well. "Conan" indeed was his launch pad, especially coupled with his Mr. Olympia affiliations at the time. Everything was working for him.
You agreed with me, now you agree with him? What gives? "Conan the Barbarian" did indeed make him a household name, and he even scored a cameo in "Red Sonja" because of his characters popularity. "The Terminator" may have been what made him an action movie staple, but it wasn't what made his career.
As for the merging, it will all be explained in a short time with an official announcement.
Conan and T1 solidified him as an action star, but T2 is what made him a super-star. Who knows, without T2 he could have ended up with the ranks of Jean Claude, Steven Segal, or Chuck Norris.
Yeah I agree, after Kindergarten Cop his career was in somewhat danger. Then James came along and offered him T2 and that made sure he kept making action films for as long as he wanted to.
The fact is that most "action stars" are exactly the same way.
Even if Arnold only has a small role in T4, I think that in the advertising and marketing of T4 they will try and make it seem as if he has a large role in the film.
Yeah and for the people who don't look up at least a little bit of info on the film, they will probably fall for the advertising, marketing, and posters and think that he does indeed have a large role in the film.
