Well, if you have a slow connection it could make it lag, I suppose.

It works! yay.
Question: Obviously, by posting videos via Youtube we have to maintain discretion so that we may abide by the forum's PG-13 rule. However, some videos on Youtube are not flagged for certain content that moderators may or may not deem appropriate. Should we just use good judgement when posting videos or strictly post videos that are not specifically flagged for content?

Okay I just discovered something I should suggest, or rather, nag, about. I think everyone should be treated equally when receiving a punishment. For instance, it's one thing if someone creates a stupid thread and it gets closed, but it's another if they create a thread designed to bash a member. My point is, I've seen a LOT of the newer people get warned/banned for doing this, but a lot of the older members don't even get a warning, and I don't find that fair. It's in a particular case today.

well you need to earn a bit of respect first before making a fool of yourself. But i'm pretty sure they still get warnings

The purpose of a warning is to inform a member that their action is not allowed within the boards. If it is a veteran member, they seem to be doing something right because they are exactly that. A veteran member. Also, dozens of people are warned a day, privately. So, don't be wrong to assume that someone is getting off the hook if they aren't being warned in public.

Good judgment is key quote: (post ) Originally posted by Kelly_LS

the thread you mentioned was 'designed' to bash a member. The member was being belligerent and the thread exposed that. The fact that it led to a lot of bashing doesn't mean it was designed for that.
And older members don't get in trouble as much because they have had a chance to do good things for the forum and one example of deviating from that doesn't warrant a public warning or bannage

We now have a new tag for youtube.
To utilize the youtube vB code, all you need to input is the code from the youtube url. i.e. for http://youtube.com/watch?v= 0XxI-hvPRRA - the code would be 0XxI-hvPRRA.
So, [yout ube]0XxI-hvPRRA[/youtube] would produce:
That works in Profiles as well?
Never-the-mind
