I want to push that suggestion again, as I feel it was lost in the hustle.
Also, a technical issue. On AOL browser anyway, I exit a thread by clicking the "Movie" main forum link for example, and when I get back there, it clears my log in info. But when I click on another topic, I'm logged right back in.
The issue there is that when my log-in info is cleared, the new post notifications are gone.
Look at it this way. Movies are derived from 3 sources nowdays, more or less. Books, comics, and now more than ever, video games.
Alls it would have to be would be expanding the "Comic Book Movies" to "Comic Book and Video Game Movies", make a forum for RE, FF, and MK, with a "other movies" section for, well, other movies.
If that didn't work, give it it's own section below/on top of "Comic Book Movies", and if THAT weren't to work, you can always have a subforum in the "Misc." section, under Video Games for Video Game movies, and there could just be seperate threads for the movies instead of another subforum for them.
IMHO, a condensing of a Comic and Video Game movies section would produce great traffic, if not that, it deserves it's own section, especially with the popularity of the franchises, and with insanely hot video games getting movie adaptations like Silent Hill, Rainbow Six, etc.
Just a thought. Sci Fi section still takes top billing, naturally.
i was thinking will thier ever be a godzilla forum because it has more films then any of the other movies in the movie franchise section... and like i bet everyone loves that radio active lizard... so i think it would be a big hit...
I am not driven by people’ s praise and I am not slowed down by people’ s criticism.
You only live once. But if you live it right, once is enough. Wrong. We only die once, we live every day!
Make poverty history.
a quick search on IMDB gave me 15 titles. I hope there are more since Bond has 20 (and the 21th being underway, and that's counting the canon ones only)
