Chapter 5-Future Battles:A Time of Chaos is About to Begin!!!
(Tim's house)-5:00PM
(Derek has been invited into Tim's house as part of his group now. They are eating an early dinner containing chili and broccoli. Afterwards, Misao thanks Tim's mom for the delicious meal since she never had anything like it before. Tim and Derek do the same, then they all gather in Tim's room.)
Derek: So, what did you guy's want to talk to me about?
Tim: It's about my trip to Japan.
Derek: Well, I suppose. Did you enjoy your time there?
Tim: What I'm about to tell you might make you wish you didn't beat me up.
Derek: Huh?
(Tim puts in a Kenshin DVD and then goes to a scene with Misao in it.)
Derek: Uhhh........what the hell?! That's.....!!! (looks at Misao then the TV again) But how......?!
Tim: That's what I want to talk about Derek. (pauses the movie) Look at my face.
Derek: Yeah, it's a cross-shaped scar. What about it?
Tim: ...........(plays the movie again till Kenshin appears. Derek gasps at the same scar he has)
Derek: Tim, what the hell is going on here?! Are you trying to scare me here?!
Tim: No Derek, I'm not. What you're watching;the environment, the characters, the time period;that is where I have been.
Derek: How is that possible?!
Tim: It all started September 9th, 2003...........
(Flashback)-a summary
Dad: You little brat!!
(SLAP)
Tim: (crying) Why.......? Why must he be this way?
(Tim watches Rurouni Kenshin)
(BOOM)
Tim: A thunderstorm......during the winter?
(ZAP)
Tim: AAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tim: (to Derek and Misao while flashback is still playing) Afterwards, I found myself in their world, among Kenshin and them. I was invited to stay with them, then I started on a journey that could've meant my life.
Derek: Why?
Tim: I had to go up against the evil dictator, Makoto Shishio. After reaching him in the grand city of Kyoto, we dueled it out to decide who would live.......and who would die. I became victorious, but........he wasn't killed.
Derek: What!?
Tim: It took a while till I found out Shishio was my other half......or you could say I'm his reincarnation.
(End flashback)
Derek: What's Shishio look like?
(Tim shows Derek Shishio)
Derek: Uhh......th.......that's you?!
Tim: Not exactly......but I will be, in time.
Derek: You're saying you'll become a murderer?!
Tim: .............Yes.
Misao: ........................
Tim: Neither one of us will die......unless both of us are at the same precise time.
Derek: So.......you mean, if he's killed, and you remain alive, he'll come back to life?!
Tim: Exactly. The same goes for me.
Derek: Uhh.....man, I can't believe it. You've been through all that and I made your life worse by beating you up and such. I'm......so sorry Tim.

Misao: ...................(herself) Tim.........

TV: But you can't, can you?! Since your life is devoted only on meeting your horrible destiny!!
Tim: .........(looks at the TV and gasps) Shishio!!!

Shishio: Heh heh heh, so you like where I sent you?! I did so so I could have you stay out of my way while I start the biggest of all wars in Japan!!
Tim: You bastard!!!
Shishio: My first order of business is to kill off Himura and the rest of your friends!!

Shishio: You'll kill me?! I doubt that will ever happen, since neither of us can except under the certain circumstances!!

(BOOM)-a cannonball is fired through the doors

(SLASH)-Kenshin quickly cuts the cannonball in half before it hits Kaoru.
Kenshin: Who the hell?!
Kaoru: Kenshin.........
????: (from within smoke from the cannon) Hm hm hm hm hm!!!!! It's been a long time battousai! How about we finish what we started 9 months ago?!
Kenshin: No, it can't be!!
Shishio: (after the smoke has gone away) Heh heh heh!!!!!
All: Shishio!!!!!

Chapter 6-Old Times:A Battle Rages On (Part 1)
All: Shishio!!!
Shishio: Hey everyone, I'm glad to see you're all still safe and sound! :unsheathes sword: I've been waiting for this moment to kill you all off myself!!
Kenshin: Just try Shishio, I WON'T LET YOU!!!!!
Shishio: (charges) HAVE AT ME THEN!!!!!
Kenshin: (charges) Aaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!
(CLING)
(After crossing swords, they jump back. Kenshin jumps into the air towards him then brings his sword down as quickly as possible. Shishio quickly disappears and then reappears behind Kenshin, at the ready to cut his head off.)
Yahiko: Kenshin, look out!!!!!
Kenshin: HUH?!?!
(CLING)
Shishio: Lucky bastard!!! (jumps back)
Kenshin: (turns around) Shishio, I don't know what you're planning, but I swear that I'll stop you someway!!
Shishio: Battousai, you don't seem to understand! I'm different from the time we fought in Kyoto! All thanks to my other self arriving here, I have become the strongest man in the whole entire world! Nothing within the power of man will be able to stop me! NOTHING!!!!! (evil laughter)
Kenshin: You bastard!! What are you planning?!
Shishio: I'm afraid that if I tell you, you'd have a higher risk of losing your life!
Kenshin: TELL ME!!!!!
Shishio: Alright then, if you really want to know, I plan on starting the biggest war ever fought in the history of this world!!
Kenshin: What?!!?

Shishio: Now that you know, I'll have to make sure that your mouths stay shut!!! (charges) Let's continue!!!!!
Kenshin: (Hirameki stance) AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Shishio: Hhmphhhhhh!!!

Kaoru: KENSHIN!!!!!!!!!
(Kenshin was sent flying into the air, with his sword gone from his hand, and also unconscious)
Shishio: Now, we finish this!!!!! (jumps in the air with sword raised) GOODBYE, BATTOUSAI!!!!!!!!!!
Kaoru: KENSHIN!!!!!!!!!!!!
????: AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Shishio: What?!!?
(A person suddenly jumps up towards Shishio, sword raised high. Shishio quickly avoids the straight slash down and falls to the ground. The person then grabs Kenshin before he falls hard to the ground and then lands on his feet. Everyone looks closely at who just rescued him, then they all gasp.)
All: TIM!!!!!!!!
Tim: ...........................Hey everyone.
Yahiko: I can't believe it!! It's you!!!
Tim: (smiles) Yep, the one and only!
Kaoru: But, what about Misao?
Tim: She's safe somewhere in town. Don't worry, I have someone watching her.
Kaoru: Who?
Tim: A friend from my world.
Kaoru: Oh really, that's good.
Tim: Yeah. (lays Kenshin down) Well, I guess I'll be back in a few minutes. (walks off towards Shishio)
Kaoru: Tim...........
Shishio: You!!! How the hell did you get back here?!
Tim: What's it to you, Shishio?! My destiny is here, not back in my time! I have a right to choose where I want to be! (unsheathes sword he got from town) I don't care if we are one in the same!!! I will not the follow the path that you have walked down!!!
Shishio: There's no helping it battousai! My genes flow freely within you, and in due time, they will take your current genes over and turn you into what is me, Makoto Shishio!!!
Tim: SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (charges then disappears)
Shishio: What the hell?!
(SLASH)-Shishio get's cut in the back.

Tim: (in front of Shishio again) I don't know why I didn't use my Akameki Super Slash on you! I just had the feeling that I would like to torture you slowly! You see.....after receiving that message that you sent, I screamed as loud as I ever did, then I returned here, as strong as ever!! I got this brand new sword you see here, then, like you saw, I arrived here! And now, with this sword........(raises it) I shall call upon the heavens to ask for the power to finish you off forever!!!!!
Shishio: ................Heh heh heh heh heh!!!
Tim: Hmmm?
Shishio: Heh ha heh heh heh!!!!!

Tim: You want bull?!?!? THEN TAKE THIS!!!!!!! (jumps in the air with sword raised, then his sword starts glowing)
Yahiko: What the heck........is Tim doing?!
Sano: Could this be an attack that might finish off Shishio for good?!
Kaoru: Let's hope, because if it doesn't.........then Tim's true soul will disappear for good!
Kenshin: Uunghhh........
Kaoru: Kenshin!!! (runs too him) How are you feeling?!
Kenshin: Fine, that I..........Huh?! (notices Tim in the air) Sir Tim!!!
Tim: .............................
Shishio: Go ahead battousai, I DARE YOU!!!!!!
Tim: .............(evil glare) Fine!!!
Kaoru: Tim!!!
Tim: HEAVEN'S SMITE!!!!!!! (lowers sword, then a high wave of energy flies towards the ground at a high speed, it's highly impossible to block it)

Yahiko: ...............
Sano: ..................
Tim: ...............Hmphhh!!!
Kenshin: I.......can't believe what.....I just saw!!
Kaoru: That attack!! It was........so powerful!!!
Sano: I hope that finished him off! No one could've survived that!
Yahiko: But even if it did, wouldn't he come back, since Tim is alive at the moment?!
Sano: Yeah, that makes sense.
Tim: ...................
(The smoke then clears up and shows the aftermath of the attack. There is a big gap where the attack hit the ground. Around the edge of the gap is some blood. Tim goes to look in the hole and notices Shishio's blood and guts scattered everywhere.)
Tim: ...........(laughs evily)
All: ..............!!!
Tim: I guess that's the end of him!! (more evil laughter)
Kenshin: Sir Tim...........
Tim: ..........(turns towards the others) You don't have to worry anymore! He has been finished off by the powers of the heavens!!!
Yahiko: Kenshin.........is he.........?!
Kenshin: It seems like it, that it does! He is now an out-of-control killer!!
Tim: Get up Himura, (extends sword) we shall finish what we started in Kyoto!!!
Kaoru: Tim..........
Kenshin: Fine Sir Tim, I will face you once again, that I will! (stands on his feet)
Sano: But Kenshin.....!!!
Kenshin: If Tim's desire is to fight me, then I shall face him, that I will! (starts walking towards him)
Kaoru: ...........(starting to cry) I'm going inside!! I'm not going to go through this again!! (runs inside)
Sano: Missy!!! (to Yahiko) Yahiko, why don't you go inside and keep her safe?
Yahiko: .......Sure. (goes inside)
Sano: ............(looks at Tim) (himself) Tim, why must you go through this?
Kenshin: ................. (grabs his sword)
Tim: .............(evil smile) Heh! (grabs his sword)
Kenshin: (himself) It seems that I must defeat him to have him come out of his trance of power. If not, then my life as Sir Tim's friend will be over.
Tim: ...........Are you having second thoughts by any chance, Himura?

Sano: ..........He's about to fight Shishio again, but........

Sano: Shishio........came back to life.......right in front of our eyes.........after being cut into many pieces.
Kenshin: Then it is true........they are one in the same.

Shishio: Heh heh heh, and so, our battles yet continues! (unsheathes sword) Let's continue!!!
Tim: ..............What's the point?

Shishio: We still have to figure out who's weak, and who's strong! This battle is far from over!

Kaoru: (coming out) What's going on?!
Kenshin: Miss Kaoru!!
Sano: Missy, Tim is.....
Kaoru: ..........(looks at Tim) Why......are his eyes black?!
Sano: This attack Shishio performed sent a beam of light from his sword and it seemed it punctured his brain and took away his ability to speak and see.
Yahiko: He might not be able to hear either........
Kenshin: How do you know that?!
Yahiko: Just think about it........speaking and seeing are the things we do the most, right? If those abilities were taken away from him, wouldn't hearing be gone too?
Kaoru: Uhh........
Kenshin: .......................
Sano: .......................
Misao: (crying) I'll do it......

Misao: I'll help Tim recover.......by teaching him these abilities again. I'll spend as much time as I have been, showing him the love that he has lost for me, and others as well.

Misao: Huh?! (looks at where the front doors used to be) Heather?!
Heather: Mommy!!! (runs too hug her)
Misao: (runs too) Heather!!!
Heather: (hugging her, crying) Mommy, I missed you so much!!
Misao: (hugging too, crying) Me too Heather, me too!!
Heather: How's daddy doing?
Misao: ...........................
Heather: What is it, mommy? (goes to Tim and hugs him) Hey daddy, I'm so glad you're home!!
Tim: Oh........
Heather: Daddy, what's wrong?
Tim: Uhh...........
Heather: Daddy!!
Misao: Heather........?
Heather: What?
Misao: He can't hear you, or speak. He doesn't even know who you are since he doesn't remember, or see you.
Heather: Uhh.....!!! (starts crying) Why?! What happened to you daddy?! (cries harder, hugging him tightly) What happened to you?!
All: ........................
Misao: ...........(herself) Tim, be strong! I'll save you.......(clenches fists), I promise you that!

Misao: ..........(waking up) Ohhh........boy. (sits up and stretches) I needed that. (looks over to Tim who is sitting up in bed with a dazed look) Good morning Tim. (stands up and goes over to Tim and kneels down) Here Tim, I'll help you. (grabs his hand. Tim stands up) Let's go.
Act II: Struggle for Freedom
Chapter 9-The Days Ahead:Tim's Greatest Quest Begins
(Tim and Misao walk out of their room. Misao leads Tim around. They arrive in the dojo where everyone is eating breakfast.)
Kaoru: Good morning Miss Misao.
Misao: Good morning everyone.
Kenshin: How's Sir Tim doing?
Misao: Nothing's changed, but I swear I'll make him better. That is my only priority now.
Kenshin: I'm sure Sir Tim will be proud to see you again after he recovers, that he would.
Misao: Yeah........I just can't wait for that day.
All: ............................
(Suddenly, Heather runs in from playing with Ayame and Suzume outside)
Heather: Hey mommy!! (hugs her)
Misao: Hey Heather, did you sleep well?
Heather: Yeah. How's daddy?
Misao: He's fine. Don't worry, I'll make him better again. I promise.
Heather: Thank you mommy!! (hugs her again)
(Everyone smiles)
Tim: Ohh..........H.............
Kaoru: Huh?
Tim: He...........He.........
Sano: Is he........trying to say Heather?
Kenshin: (smiles) He must know she's close. He knows because of what is in his heart.
Kaoru: So, are you trying to say that........?
Kenshin: Yes........Tim's heart is what will get him through this.
Misao: Oh Tim.........huh?
(Heather walks over to Tim)
Heather: ..................
Yahiko: .................
Misao: .............Heather?
Kaoru: ...................
Heather: .........Daddy? If..........If you know I'm here, then......could you hold my hand, please? (extends her right hand)
All: ...................
Misao: ....................
Heather: .................
Tim: .................(slowly puts his hands around Heathers, and smiles)
Heather: Uhhh.............
Kaoru: Tim...........
Misao: ............(smiles) Tim.........
Heather: Oh........daddy. (hugs him crying)
(Tim hugs her)
Misao: It can't be possible already. Does Tim have the ability.........to feel again?
Kenshin: I don't think so, Miss Misao. He might be able to feel with his heart, but physically is not possible yet.
Misao: ........(smiles) Yeah, I suppose you're right. (looks at Tim and Heather, still hugging)
(5 minutes later)
Misao: Well, I suppose me and Tim will walk around town for a while.
Kaoru: Ok, be back soon.
Misao: Right. Bye!
(They leave)
Sano: Misao seems more happier than ever, don't you think?
Kenshin: It's because she's closer to Tim than she ever has been.
Yahiko: Why exactly do you say that?
Kenshin: Her only priority now is to make Sir Tim better, that it is. She'll get to be with him more than she ever has been.
Kaoru: (smiles) I'm so glad they're at least together again.
(Everyone smiles)
(Downtown)
(Tim and Misao are walking arm-to-arm down the street in silence. Misao smiles then puts her hand against Tim's cheek with the scar.)
Misao: Oh Tim........I know how you must feel, but be strong, I'll save you.
(Tim put's his hand on top of her's)
Misao: (smiles) I'm glad to see you're recovering.
(Suddenly, we're shown 3 men in an alleyway)
Man 1: So, they've finally arrived.
Man 2: It's time to kill that woman off.
Man 3: Let's go.
(They run out.)
Man 1: Hey, you there!!
Misao: Uhh.....(turns around). who are you guys?!
Man 2: Heh, wouldn't you like to know?!
Man 3: Since you'll be killed here and now?!
Misao: Why are you after my life anyway?!
Man 3: It is our lord's wish!
Misao: Lord?!........Are you guys part of the Chain Gang?!
Man 2: That's right, little missy!
Misao: (herself) Dammit! I can't believe they're still around! Shishio just doesn't know when to quit!
Man 1: Now............(extends sword) prepare to suffer!!!
Misao: Bring it!!! (get's kunai's out)
Old man: Oh no, a fight!
Lady: Run!!
(People run from the scene)
(1 mile away)
Amanda: Brother?
Magnus: What is it?
Amanda: Do you think......do you think me and Alex are meant for each other?
Magnus: It's up to you Amanda. But, if you ask me, I think you guy's are. Want to know why?
Amanda: Why?
Magnus: I saw how much he cared when I was about to kill you a while back. The same went for you when you were hugging him tightly to feel protected. That's why.
Amanda: Yeah......(blushes) I guess you're right.
Magnus: .........(stops) Huh?
Amanda: What is it?
Magnus: Up ahead, look!
Amanda: Huh?
(They see Tim and Misao)
Amanda: Isn't that.......Tim?!
Magnus: Yeah, and that was the ninja girl that was kept hostage by Hiroshu! It seems like she's about to fight some of the former members!
Amanda: Should we help out?!
Magnus: Yes........let's go!!
(They run ahead)
Man 1: Get ready men!!
(All of them extend their swords)
Misao: Uhhh..........
Magnus: Hey!!
Misao: Huh?!
Man 1: Magnus sir?!
(SHINK)-Magnus unsheathed his sword and points his sword towards Misao's back
Misao: Uhhh.......!!!!!
Magnus: There's nowhere to run now, Misao Makimachi!!
Misao: Y......You're that assassin!!
Amanda: Magnus, what are you doing?!
Magnus: ....................
Misao: (herself) No..............what am I going to do?! Tim? TIM??!!?!?!!?

Man 1: Yes sir!!
(They leave)
Magnus: ........(sighs) Well, I'm glad that's over. (let's go of Misao)
Misao: Uhhh........what's going on?! You're supposed to be the best assassin in the Chain Gang!
Magnus: I know........but I left them, all because of what Sir Tim and my sister, Amanda over there, did for me.
Misao: Oh......so how did Tim help you?
Magnus: Me and him fought fierciously a while ago......You know that cross-shaped scar he has?
Misao: Yeah. What about it?
Magnus: I'm the one who gave it to him.
Misao: ..........!!!
Magnus: One of us was about to die, till Amanda showed me the kindness of love in her heart. A picture that was taken a week before I joined the Chain Gang, that's what saved me, and Sir Tim.
Misao: Was Tim........battousai during the battle?
Magnus: Most definetely. After giving him that scar, it seemed like his inner demon was unleashed.
Misao: .............Tim.
Magnus: Anyhow, what's up with him? He hasn't moved since we got here. He didn't even try to help you against those guys.
Misao: ........Shishio.......took everything away from him.
Magnus: Huh? What do you mean?
Misao: Tim's ability to see, hear, speak, and feel. All of it was taken away.
Magnus: But how?!
Misao: A beam of light......was sent right through his head, and it paralyzed his brain, making him not do those things anymore. If you think about it, he's just a mindless and dead puppet, but I don't think so. He still has a heart. That's all there is to it.
Magnus: And so, as his beloved wife, you hope to heal him?
Misao: ..........Yes. I will never quit. Tim still has a future. He can't quit now.
Magnus: (smiles) ........Huh?
(Amanda is walking over to Misao)
Misao: Hi. I'm Misao. (extends hand)
Amanda: (smiles and shakes her hand) Amanda. Pleased to meet you.
Magnus: Miss Misao, do you mind if we go eat somewhere? We've traveled quite a ways and we haven't eaten anything yet.
Misao: Sure. Me and Tim were just about to go to the restaurant here. Come, I'll lead the way.......Huh?!
Magnus: What is it?!
Misao: Wh......where's Tim?!
Amanda: Oh no!!
Misao: Split up!!
(They all run in different directions)
Misao: (herself) Oh Tim, where could have you gone?!
(We are then shown Tim in an alley, sitting on the ground with a sad and lonely face. He has his head resting on his legs as he's weeping, till.......)
Misao: (the end of the alley) Is he down here? Oh?! Tim!!! (runs too him and kneels down) Tim, what's wrong? Are you alright?
Tim: (weeping) ..............
Misao: ...........Oh Tim, you've suffered so much. I'm.....so sorry. (hugs him, crying)
(Amanda and Magnus come running)
Magnus: Misao, are you........?
(Misao is crying heavily)
Magnus: Sir Tim.........
Amanda: .........(goes to Tim's side) Hey Tim.....it's me, Amanda? Do you remember me?
Tim: ...................
Amanda: ................
Magnus: ..........Huh?
(Tim puts his hand on top of Misao's head then pulls her closer)
Misao: Uhh.........Tim?
Tim: ..........(tears start rolling down his face)
Misao: Tim..........(hugs him again, crying)

(Kyoto)-Later that afternoon
Shishio: What?!?!
Man 1: Uhh........Sir Magnus told us to retreat, and that he would take care of the wench and the battousai himself. That was his orders.

(All men fall to the ground in blood)
Shishio: You incompetent bastards!! Magnus has betrayed us!! I can't believe you didn't know!! (sheathes sword) Looks like I'll have to send in the main attraction! (pause) Vassar!!

Shishio: Go and send a gift to that ninja and my other half, and make sure it's painful!

Well, it's my first special, so I hope all of you enjoy it. It's, of course, a christmas special. It takes place in London with Tim and Misao celebrating the holiday there, but while there, they run into trouble.
Note:This is not in play style. I decided to make it normal for only this, so......enjoy. ^.^
The London boat docks-Christmas Eve
As the snow was falling and the wind blew calmly, a good-sized steam boat slowly made it's way towards the docks of the famous city in Europe;London, England. As the walkway was lowered, a man and a woman slowly walked down it and stood on the docks looking at where they were going to be headed. These two have come all the way from Japan to spend some time together for the Christmas holiday here. These two are Tim and Misao, a married couple of 1 year so far and they have an adopted daughter, who stayed behind with their friends in Tokyo. As they stand there, they hold hands, thinking of all the fun that they will be having.
A Manslayer Story Christmas Special
Chapter 1-A "Good" Start
"Wow, this place is so pretty!" said Misao, with an excited voice.
"Yes, it certainly is, isn't it? They really get into the spirit here, that they do." said Tim in one of his normal talking voices.
"So, now that we're here, what should we do first," asked Misao.
"Well.........", said Tim as he took out a piece of paper from his pocket. "We should go and ask for some money that Lord Yamagata asked to hold for us at the bank here. Then we should stop by the hotel and reserve a room, then we can go sightseeing."
"Alright then, let's go!" yelled Misao as she ran ahead of Tim.
"You should wait for me Misao, that you should!"
The bank
"This is the place, right?" asked Misao.
"Yep. Let's go in."
As they walk in, they are greeted by people who work there and are told "Merry Christmas." Tim and Misao both reply back in a friendly way then walk up to the counter.
"Hello there sir, how can I help you?" said the bank attendant man in a calm and cheerful voice.
"Yes, my name is Tim Ouellette, and I believe you have money asked by Lord Yamagata from Japan to be held for me and Misao Makimachi here?" asked Tim in another one of his friendly voices.
"Yes, of course. We were awaiting your arrival, that we were." The man then goes in the back and comes back with an envelope of bills. "Here you go. This is 5,000 in bills."
"Thanks a lot sir. We appreciate it."
"You too. Let's hope you and your wife have a wonderful christmas."
"Thank you." Then, to Misao. "Ready Misao?"
"Yes, I am."
They walk out of the bank and then suddenly hear a scream.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"Huh?!"
"What was that?!"
"It was from over there!!"
"Tim!" said Misao.
"Yes, we should investigate."
They run towards the scream like some others were. When they arrive at the spot, they find a girl unconcious on the ground. They get to her first.
"Hey, young miss, are you alright?!" asked Tim.
No reply.
"She's out cold."
"What do you think happened, Tim?"
"I believe someone, probably a scroundel, stole her purse or something like that and ran off. In the struggle, she was knocked in the head."
"How do you know that?"
"Look." Tim points at her head.
"Oh! She's bleeding!"
"I know. We have to get help."
Someone runs up to them. "Is she hurt?!" asked the woman.
"Yeah, she is," said Tim. "Could you and some others go get some doctors?"
"Ok!" She runs off.
"Nice start too our holiday trip, huh?" asked Misao, sarcastically.
"Yeah, really," answered Tim.
(3 hours later at the clinic)
"Ohhh.......uhhh......"
"Huh? Hey Tim, she's waking up!" yelled Misao.
"She is?!" Tim get's up from his chair and runs too her side. "Hey miss, you alright?"
"Wh.......who are you?"
"My name is Tim Ouellette. I found you knocked out on the streets. Did someone take your purse?"
"Yeah......some damn scumbag just came and took it, then knocked me to the ground."
"Did you happen to get a good look at his face?" asked Misao.
"No, I'm sorry. I didn't."
"So, we don't have any leads. A lot of help that gives us," said Tim.
"I'm so sorry."
"No, it's okay. I don't blame you. Pickpocketing is common these days, that it is," said Tim, "especially during this time of year."
"Yeah, I suppose," said the woman quietly.
"By the way, what's your name?"
BONK!!!!!!!!
"OWWW, Misao, why did you just hit me?!" yelled Tim.
Misao pulls Tim into a corner and whispers. "Tim, don't start getting fresh with another girl! Do you remember the time with Sara?!"
"Misao, don't be silly! You know this isn't the time to be joking, and I'm not doing so! I just want to know her name so I can maybe solve this case!"
"We came here for a little vacation and some peace and quiet! Not to get ourselves involved in another mess like we always do back in Japan!"
"But, this girl needs our help!"
"So, let someone else do so!"
"But it's Christmas. It's always nice to help out during this time of year."
"Tim............," said Misao.
"Besides, my mom would be proud of me if I did this, since I hardly did so before in my world."
Misao stays silent for at least 15 seconds, till she replies back with "Okay Tim, you win. I'll help you with this."
"Thanks Misao. You're a great friend."
"Yeah..........now don't go getting all gooshy on me. Let's get started then."
"Right!!"
They clap then hold hands.

The next morning
"YAAWWNNNNNN!!!" Tim let's out a big yawn as he wakes up from a good night's sleep. He then looks over at the woman's bed. "How long have you been awake miss?"
"About an hour. I did want to wake you and your wife up then, but you two seemed exhausted still, so I let you sleep more."
"Yeah, the trip from Japan took a while, that it did, so it seemed that we were tuckered out, but we did seem to get a little sleep on the way." Then Tim thinks to himself. "Misao seemed so peaceful when she was sleeping that it made me think more of how she lived in the past. I know she suffered a lot while Aoshi was going through that situation with Shishio and the death of the former Oniwabanshu members, but I filled the empty spaces that were made in her heart. She's so happy to have someone like me to keep her spirit alive, that she is." He then pictures Misao laying on his shoulder sleeping soundly while they were on the boat, and then he kisses her. Tim then speaks outloud again. "Well, I suppose I'll go wake her up now, that I will."
"Sure," replied the young woman.
Tim get's out of bed then walks into Misao's room. He stops in the doorway and looks at her, laying there peacefully with the sweet face that he loved so much. He walks over and shakes her a little. "Misao, hey Misao. It's time to get up." She doesn't reply. "Hey, come on sleepyhead, wake up." She doesn't budge. Tim speaks to himself again. "Boy, she must really be tuckered out still. I guess I'll just let her be." He starts walking out of the room.
"Tim.......? Is that you?" asked a still half asleep Misao.
"Oh, so you are awake. You feeling okay?"
"Yeah.......YAWWNNNN, I'm just a little tired still."
Tim softly laughs. "Anyhow, I think we should get going. You ready?"
"Yeah.........let's go."
Chapter 2-The Search Begins
"So miss, where were you for the first time yesterday?" asked Tim.
"I left home at about noon, then went to the local cafe for lunch. When I walked in, I remember this one man eying me very frighteningly. I made it look like I wasn't noticing him and went to my table. After I was done there, I left then, without him realizing, I saw him leave the cafe behind me. I was starting to get worried about what might happen, so I hurried a little faster to my next destination, which was my friends house."
"Where does he or she live?" asked Tim.
"It's a she. She lives about 2 miles north of here, near the city jail."
"The city jail, huh?" said Misao.
"Yeah, I have a feeling this guy escaped unnoticingly from there, and is somehow trying to kill me, but stole my purse instead. I need to find out who and where that man is."
"We'll help you, don't worry. Me and Misao are well known over in Japan about solving things like these."
"Thanks you two. I really appreciate it."
They start walking towards the cafe where the woman said she went first. After about 15 minutes, they arrive.
"I suppose we should go in and question the owner of the cafe, and see if he knows anything about that man," suggested Misao.
"Yes, you're right Misao," said Tim.
"Let's hope we can solve this quickly. I'm worried about what might happen to me," said the young woman.
Tim remains silent, then starts walking in. A man wearing nice dress clothes welcomes them.
"Ah, good day sir. How may I help you?" asked the man.
"Yes, we're here to question you about something."
"What might that be sir?"
"Do you remember seeing this woman yesterday?" He points towards the woman.
"Yes, I do. She's miss Kathy Richardson."
"Oh, Miss Richardson huh?" said Tim. "Do you also remember serving this one man around the time she came in?"
"Now that you mention it, this one man wearing a white t-shirt and black pants did come in about 10 minutes before the miss did."
"A white t-shirt and black pants. Do you remember anything else about him?" asked Misao.
"Wait. Why are we talking about this?" asked the man.
"That guy stole this woman's purse, if you didn't know," said Tim.
"Oh, that's terrible! How do you feel Miss Richardson?"
"I'm fine Mitch, thanks," said Kathy.
"That's good to hear. Anyhow, you wanted to know the identity of that man?" asked Mitch.
"Yes please," said Misao.
"Do customers have to leave their names on the bills here?" asked Tim.
"Yes, they do."
"And you keep all of them on record?" asked Misao.
"Yes, we have to in case of frauds and such."
"Could you go get that particular bill for that man please?"
"Yes, of course. I'll be right back." He goes in the back.
Misao sighs. "Oh boy, to think crimes are as bad as they are overseas."
"What do you two do while over there?" asked Kathy.
"Well, I'm a swordsman for one, and Misao here is the leader of a group of ninjas known as the Oniwabanshuu. They're well known there."
"That's very nice. I'm glad to hear you two enjoy your time there."
"Yeah, we have lots of nice friends over there as well. One of them is in charge of this swordsmanship dojo in Tokyo," said Misao.
Kathy softly laughs. "And also, how long have you two been married? You both seem to be about 15 by my standards."
Tim and Misao start shaking with anger.
"What's wrong? Did I say something wrong?"
"Why does everyone always mess up our ages?" asked Misao.
"That, I do not know Misao, that I don't."
"So you're not 15?"
"NO!!!" yelled Tim and Misao in a funny way.
People there are startled by their yells.
"Sorry about that everyone," apoligized Tim.
"Oh Tim, here comes that guy," said Misao.
"Sorry, it took a while. Here."
Tim studies the bill.
"Hmmm.......," thought Tim.
"Do you see anything that might help us Tim?" asked Misao.
"It looks like the guys name was.......Craig or something. That's all that seems knowing."
"Craig........," said Kathy.
"Do you know something about this Craig Kathy?" asked Tim.
"Well, I do know of one, but the one I know would never do something like steal a woman's purse."
"So, it seems like we should go ask this Craig just to be safe," suggested Misao.
"Does that sound okay, Kathy?" asked Tim.
"I'd hate too, but......yeah, let's go."
Tim gestures to Mitch. "Thank you for all your help sir."
"No problem. I was glad I was able too. See you later miss."
"Yes. Bye Mitch." said Kathy.
The three of them then walk out of the cafe. "So, where does Craig live?" asked Tim.
"He lives not far from here. I'll lead the way."
"Sure," said Tim.
They start walking till a voice is heard from behind them.
"So, you're the new battousai of Japan, huh?!"
"What the hell?!" said Tim, then he turns around. "Who the hell are you?!"
"I'm known as the battousai here, for what I have done in the past!"
"You're a battousai?! What are you.......?!" asked Tim in an angry voice.
The mysterious man starts laughing maniacly. "To find out if I am who I am, then fight me!!"
"But, you don't even have a sword or a weapon! How do you plan on winning?!"
"Heh, the same can be said of you!" said the man.
"How about we duel with fists then, if it'll make you happy?!" asked Tim.
"A grand idea!" said the man. Then, the man charges Tim with his fist raised. "Let's begin!!!"
Next time:The mystery delves deeper as Tim squares off against the man. The man's fists, to Tim, seem to be emitting an aura of revenge, but of what travesty has Kathy made him suffer? What will be solved as this mystery draws ever closer to the end?

"Tim!!!" yelled Misao.
As the man sends his fist towards Tim's face, Tim avoids it by moving to the right, then he goes for an elbow slam into his neck. The man avoids it too, then he get's a ways away from Tim and turns around.
"Even without a sword, you are quite skilled with your fists! I'm impressed, battousai!" said the man.
"How the hell do you know about me?!" asked Tim.
"Let's just say that I've met you before! Is that a good enough reason?!"
"I've never seen you before! What are you talking about?!" yelled Tim.
"You might not have seen me, but I remember seeing you while taking care of that Shishio guy in Kyoto!"
Tim says to himself, "Hmphhh, it seems I have a freaking stalker on my tail! He must've seen me talking with Saito and then followed me to the mountain area where I fought Shishio!" Tim then yells out, "What was your reason for following me around anyway?!"
"Revenge.......on my brothers life!!" yelled the man.
"Brother?! Are......are you saying that you are Shishio's brother?!"
"No, not exactly! I'm Gohei Hiruma's brother!!"
Both Tim and Misao gasp.
Chapter 3-The Big Finish
"You, battousai! You deserve to die for what you did to him!!"
"But it wasn't really my fault! You see, while fighting him, I........!!" started Tim.
"No, I don't want your pity! The only thing that I, Kihei Hiruma, can do now is kill you! That's all I can do for my revenge!"
"Heh, sorry to say buddy, but I can't be killed, unless Shishio is also dead at the same time, so no matter what you do, you won't achieve it!"
"What does Shishio have to do with this?!" yelled Kihei.
"He's my other half, in case you didn't know!"
"That's bullshit!! How can that be possible?!" yelled Kihei.
"Believe me Kihei, it is! If you want proof, then TRY and kill me!"
"Uurrghhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!" screamed Kihei. "I'll show you a thing or two!!!" Kihei said. He then charges him, fist raised high.
"Tim, be careful!!" yelled Misao.
"Hmmphhh.........," said Tim.
As Kihei sends his fist towards Tim again, he uses his fast reflexes to grab his fist and then bend his wrist back.
"Uhhhh.....oww........AHHH!!!!!!" yelled Kihei.
"Heh!! Hurts, doesn't it, you stupid *****?!" said Tim.
"Yes, he's got him!! I knew Tim wouldn't have any trouble with him!" said Misao to herself. "Huh?!" said Misao. Suddenly, she see's Kihei secretly going for a dagger in his pocket. "Tim, look out!!!" she yelled.
"What?!" asked Tim.
Then, from out of nowhere, Kihei stabs Tim in the ribs.
"AAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" yelled Tim.
"You bastard!!!" yelled Misao. She suddenly charges towards Kihei. He see's her coming, then swings the dagger down. Misao easily avoids it then kicks him in the chin, sending him flying. After he hits the ground hard, Misao runs to Tim and kneels down. "Tim!! Tim, please, wake up!!"
"Ohhhh...........Mi......Misao..........," said Tim softly.
"Tim, are you alright?!" asked Misao.
"Yeah........I am. Just........can you get the bread out of my shirt please?"
"Huh?" Misao then opens up his shirt then see's that Kihei stabbed him where the bread was, and saw that the power of the dagger was lowered a little, so Tim's wound isn't that fatal. "Tim, when did you get this?!"
"Heh, I snuck it in there when no one was looking, because I knew that I would get hungry later. Weird coincidence he stabbed me where it was, huh?"
"Oh Tim, you need to stop doing things like this," said Misao.
"Hey, don't you remember? The time you met Kenshin? You were taking that money from those bandits, then he took it back from you. I'd consider that stealing too. Besides, I don't steal that much."
"I wasn't talking about stealing Tim, I was talking about getting yourself into situations like these."
"Oh, heh, yeah, I guess that's true," said Tim.
Misao smiles, then she says, "Huh, hey, did you see where Kathy went?"
"Now that you think about it, she left when I didn't know."
"But where could she have.........?"
Suddenly, a voice could be heard down the street.
"They're over here! Hurry!"
"Could it be........?" asked Tim.
"It seems she went to go get the police."
They arrive. "Oh, Sir Tim, are you alright?!" asked Kathy.
Tim slowly get's up. "I'm alright, that I am."
"Thank goodness," said Kathy.
"Is this the man?" asked a cop.
"Yes, take him away, but first, go to his house and retrieve the purse he stole."
"Yes ma'am!" said the cop. Two others then help carry Kihei away.
"Sir Tim, I thank you for helping me out. I'm sorry if I caused you any trouble."
"No, it's okay," said Tim. "Besides, me and Misao still have lots of time to be doing things for the Christmas holiday, that we do."
"I hope you two have a great time. Take care." said Kathy.
"Bye!!" said Tim and Misao.
And so, as the cops are taking Kihei away, and snow starts falling, Tim and Misao think of the time that they spent with their new friend, Kathy, and of the time they will be spending on one of the most special days of the year.

The next day-Christmas morning
"YYYAWWWNNN!!!!!!!!!" yawned Tim as he wakes up in a nice warm bed. "That was one of the best nights I've ever had." He then looks over at Misao next to him. He get's out of bed then goes over to kiss her. "Hey Misao, it's Christmas morning. Ready to open the gifts?" asked Tim quietly.
"Oh............Tim? It's morning?"
Tim softly laughs. "Yep, it's christmas. Let's go downstairs, okay?"
"Okay."
They both walk downstairs holding hands then they arrive at the tree in their room. They go to sit by it.
"So, do you want to open first?" asked Tim.
"Sure, if you insist," said Misao.
Tim grabs Misao's gift, then hands it to her. "Here, I hope you like it."
"Ohhh........could this be?" said Misao softly.
"Open it."
Misao does so, then gasps at what she see's. "Oh Tim........it's.......so beautiful." She takes the present out of the little box, which is a diamond ring. "I can't believe you got me something like this. It's so beautiful. How much did it cost?"
"It cost quite a bit. I got it at a store while you were sleeping. Luckily, the store was still open."
"Thank you Tim.........I'll cherish this for the rest of my life." She hugs him tightly.
"You're very welcome Misao, that you are."
Misao starts crying a little, then she says, "Well....sniff......now it's your turn." She grabs his then hands it to him. The size of the box is about the size of a normal sheet of paper. "What could be in here?" asked Tim.
"Open it up silly." said Misao.
Tim does so, then takes what was inside out. After a few moments, Tim is speechless then tears form in his eyes. "This picture.........it's us, when......."
"It was taken on our wedding day. I had someone take it while we were kissing."
"Oh Misao........" Tim starts crying. "You make me so happy, to think that I could've met someone like you before in my life, but now, here we are, sharing each other's love through these gifts." Tim cries harder.
Misao smiles then hugs him again. "I'm glad you like it Tim."
Then, there's a knock at the door.
"Huh, who could that be?" asked Tim. Tim then get's up then opens the door. "Yes, is there something you need sir?"
"Sir Tim, right?" asked the man.
"Yes, that's me."
"This package came in for you. It's from a Kathy Richardson."
"Oh, ok then. I'll take it. Thank you."
"And thank you sir. Merry Christmas."
"Same to you sir," said Tim. Tim then shuts the door and goes to sit by Misao.
"What do you think it is Tim?" asked Misao.
"I don't know, but it's from Kathy." Tim opens it then takes out what was inside. What it was was two sweaters, both for Tim and Misao. "Oh, look at these. They're so nice looking."
"These will definetely keep us warm on our way back home."
"Wait," said Tim, "there's something else here." He takes a piece of paper out of the box then reads it.
Dear Sir Tim and Miss Misao,
Thank you once again for all the help you did for me. I never expected any help from someone like you. I'm very grateful. Like I asked, I got my purse back with all my money and everything still in it. After retrieving it, I decided to buy both of you two nice warm sweaters for your trip back home to Japan. I hope they fit you. Other than that, you two have become my greatest friends. I thank you ever so much. I hope to see you again. Farewell you two.

"That's sweet," said Misao
"Yeah, I'm glad she's full of the Christmas spirit," said Tim.
"Well, now that all of this is done, I suppose we should get heading home now, huh?"
"Yeah, I suppose you're right," said Tim.
Later that afternoon at the docks
As the boat leaves the docks, Tim and Misao take one last look at the place where they had a grand adventure, and one they glad they enjoyed, since they met another friend, and they helped solve a problem. Then, suddenly on the docks, Tim and Misao spot a figure standing by the side. It is Kathy, saying a farewell. They both wave, knowing that in their hearts, they will meet each other again.
A few days later in Tokyo-Early afternoon
"Yahiko, did you finish the dishes?" asked Kaoru.
"Yeah, I did. I'm all set here." said Yahiko.
"And the laundry is just about done, that it is." said Kenshin.
"Good, we're just about done." said Kaoru.
Suddenly, the dojo doors open, then Tim and Misao appear on the other side.
"Tim, Misao! You're home!" yelled Kaoru. She runs too Tim hugging him.
"Hey Miss Kaoru, I missed you too, that I did." said a cheerful Tim.
"Welcome back you guys," said Kenshin.
"Hello there Himura," said Misao.
"So, how was your trip Tim?" asked Kaoru.
Tim and Misao softly laugh, then say, "Let's just say that it was "grand." They both then start cracking up. Kaoru and the others get these dazed and confused looks, then smile to see that, even though they didn't actually get a direct answer, they seemed that they had a fun time.

Note: I forgot to say that Vassar is a very mysterious being. He is known as the "Shadow Crawler" and he wears a dark black cape that goes down to his knees and the face part covers his eyes.
Act II: Struggle for Freedom
Chapter 11-Vassar: Shishio's New Right-hand Man
(In front of the Akabeko)
Misao: Well, here we are!
Magnus: Akabeko huh? It seems they're famous for their beef pots.
Misao: Yeah, they're pretty good here.
Amanda: I can't wait to try it!
(They go in)
Tai: Oh, Miss Misao, welcome!
Misao: Hello Miss Tai.
Tai: How are you doing, Sir Tim?
Tim: .......................
Tai: Sir Tim? Is something wrong? Your eyes, they're......
Misao: We'll explain later Miss Tai. It's sort of a lengthy story.
Tai: Alright then. I'll lead you to a table.
(She does)
Tai: Here you go.
Misao: Thanks Miss Tai.
Tai: And also, I noticed there's 2 others with you.
Magnus: Yes, my name is Magnus.
Amanda: And I'm his younger sister, Amanda.
Tai: It's nice to meet you.
Magnus: Us too.
Tai: You want the usual, right?
Misao: Yes please.
Tai: It'll be out in a few minutes.
All: Thanks!
Magnus: So, how do you like Tokyo so far Amanda?
Amanda: It seems nice. I might like it better than our town.
Magnus: I sort of do after being here before.
Amanda: And also.....(her voice tones out as we are shown Misao sitting there, feeling lonely since she can't conversate with Tim. She closes her eyes.)
(Misao dreaming)
(The riverbed)
Misao: (sitting on the bank, looking at the fireflies) ..................
Tim: (arriving) Hey Misao.
Misao: Tim..........(Tim sits next to her) So....um, what did you want to talk to me about?
Tim: I.........came to give you something. (digs into his pocket and pulls out a little box) Here. (hands it to Misao)
Misao: Huh? Is this........?
Tim: (smiles) Open it up.
Misao: ...........(she does) Uhh.......Tim.......
Tim: So.....how is it?
Misao: It's.......beautiful. (what's inside is a ring with a diamond)
Tim: (smiles) I knew you'd like it.
Misao: Oh Tim.......(hugs) I love you so much.
Tim: .......(hugs) Me too Misao......me too.
Miss Misao? Miss Misao?
Tim: I'll be back soon Misao.........I promise. It all depends on what you do......as my beloved wife.
Misao: Yeah.......(crying)
Tim: ............Thank you.
Misao?!
Misao: Huh?
Amanda: The food is here.
Misao: Oh........yeah, sorry. (she get's her share and starts eating)
Magnus: What about Tim, Misao?
Misao: I'll feed him in a minute.
Magnus: Alright then.
(After Misao eats, she get's a bowl ready for Tim and feeds him)
Misao: Here Tim.
(Tim chews then smiles afterwards)
Misao: (softly laughs) I think he likes it.
(Magnus and Amanda softly laugh)
(30 minutes later)
Misao: Thank you Miss Tai. (bows) We'll be going now.
Tai: Alright, see ya. I'm very sorry for what happened. Take care of him, okay?
Misao: (smiles) Don't worry......I will.
(They exit the Akabeko)
Misao: So, shall we go meet everyone at the dojo where I stay?
Amanda: Sure! Will Alex be there?
Misao: I'm afraid not. He went back home.
Amanda: Oh........I see.
Misao: ................
Magnus: You see, that was pretty much the only reason we had for coming here. She missed him.
Misao: I'm sorry to say, but we split up when we left Kyoto after the battles with Hiroshu and Shishio.
Magnus: Shishio?! He was there!?
(Flashbacks start playing)
Misao: Not exactly "there." He took control of Hiroshu's dead body, then battled Tim to the death. After that, he took Tim down then sent him back to his world. We lost all contact with him, till one day, I was sitting outside, then I heard Tim's scream. I don't know how but I heard it, and it was the key to being with him again.
Magnus: Why did he scream?
Misao: He was being beaten up by some former bullies. Because his skills with the sword were useless in his world, he had nothing to defend himself with. After screaming out from pain of being hit with metal bats, I was sent to help him. A while later, we were suddenly sent back here, to settle the score with Shishio......for good.
Magnus: Oh.........
(Flashbacks end)
Misao: Anyhow, enough of that kind of stuff. Let's go. (start's walking off with them)
????: Hold it right there.......Misao Makimachi!!!
Misao: Uhh........that voice........I remember it.......It's......!!!
(They all turn around)
Misao and Magnus: Vassar!!!
Amanda: Vassar?!
Magnus: Eeergghhhhhhh!!!!!!! (get's in front of Amanda) Stay back Amanda, this man has no honor!! He'll kill you if he has the right chance!!
Vassar: Hm hm hm!!! So, it seems it's true after all! You did betray us!
Magnus: Yeah, what's it to you?!
Vassar: Oh, nothing!
Magnus: .............(clenching fists) What are you doing here anyway?!
Vassar: I'm here to eliminate the girl and our lord's other half!
Magnus: Should've known! (unsheathes sword) You'll have to get past me first if you want them!!
Vassar: .........(smirks then unsheathes sword)
Misao: Uhhh.........Magnus?! (runs too him)
Tim: Ahh........
Magnus: What is it?!
Misao: Let me help you! If he wants me, then fine! I'll fight for it!
Magnus: No, get back!!
Misao: I know the danger I'm putting myself in, so don't worry!!
Magnus: Misao, please! If you die, Sir Tim will have no one left in this world!
Misao: Uhh........(looks behind her) Tim.........
Magnus: So, if you want Misao, stand down, and comfort him.
Misao: ............Yeah..........you're right. (puts her hand on Magnus's shoulder) Good luck.
Magnus: ..............(smiles) Thanks.
(She walks towards Tim then puts her arm around him)
Misao: I'm sorry Tim. I must've worried you.
(Tim put's his arm around her and pulls her closer so not to feel alone)
Misao: (smiles) I love you too Tim.
Amanda: Magnus, be careful!!!
Magnus: Don't worry Amanda, I'll be fine!
Vassar: I've had enough of this stalling!! (disappears)
Magnus: Uhhh.......!!!!!
(SLASH)-Vassar came up directly behind him and cut him square in the back
Magnus: Aaahhhhh!!!!!!!!!!
Amanda: Brother!!!
Misao: This doesn't look good!!
Magnus: Unghhhh.......(holds himself up with his sword) (himself) he's so powerful! How am I going to beat him with my present strength?!
Vassar: Give it up Magnus! You saw how fast I was just now! You don't stand a chance against me!
Magnus: No........I'm not done yet! I still have to protect my sister and friends!
Vassar: What a fool! (disappears)
Magnus: (himself) Concentrate Magnus, concentrate! Try to predict his movements!
(15 seconds of silence)
Magnus: ....................
Misao: Uhhh..........
Amanda: Magnus........
Vassar: (suddenly appearing in front of him) Now you die!!!
Amanda: Magnus!!!!!
(SLASH)
Misao: .............!!!!!
Amanda: ...............!!!!!
Magnus: ..........Heh heh heh!!!
(Magnus stabbed him in the upper shoulder area. They hold their positions.)
Vassar: You......bastard!!!
Magnus: Don't forget Vassar, I was the best and only assassin in the Chain Gang till Shishio hired you. I'm not as weak as you say. (takes sword out and jumps back)
Vassar: Errnghhhhh.....!!!
Misao: This man........
Amanda: Huh?
Vassar: You haven't heard the last of me! You'll get what's coming to you!!! (disappears)
Magnus: ...........Hhmphhhhh!!! (sheathes sword)
Amanda: (runs too his side) Magnus, are you alright?!
Magnus: Yeah......I'm fine.
Misao: Magnus.........tell me. What do you know about that guy, Vassar?
Magnus: .........It seems that Shishio hired him after he heard of my betrayal in the Chain Gang, then ultimately set his goal to killing you and Sir Tim off. No matter what, whenever something happens to his precious assassins, he will replace them and not give up on finally getting rid of Sir Tim once and for all. If I were you, I would seek refuge at this dojo and stay there till Sir Tim fully recovers. He is the key to finally getting rid of him.
Misao: I know.......I know I should stay there till he's well again but, the thing that makes me sad is.......that Tim is the one that must get rid of him. Me and him are destined to always be together, and yet.......(lowers her head)
Magnus: ...................
Amanda: ............(goes over to Misao and places her hand on her shoulder) Miss Misao, do you know what's in Sir Tim's heart?
Misao: Of course I do. The things that are present in his heart is the feelings for me and his friends and family, what else?
Amanda: Exactly. That's the reason why it's his duty to finally get rid of him once and for all;to keep what's in his heart. He's protecting all of you from evil and using his love and friendship to aid you.
Misao: .................(tears are forming) Ohh..........
Amanda: I know all of this must be hard for you, but Tim wants you to be strong, and wait for the time till you guys are finally free from his rule.
Misao: ............................Tim............
Amanda: (smiles) Be strong..........That's all he wants.
Misao: (suddenly hugs Tim, crying heavily into him) Tim..........I promise! I promise to make you better so you can finally beat that bastard! You will win! I know it!
Tim: Mi........mi........sao.........
Misao: Uhh........
(Tim hugs her)
Misao: Oh Tim.........(continues crying while hugging him)
Misao and the others are free from danger at the moment, but what's to come will bring chaos throughout all of Japan. Will Tim be able to heal his wounds in his heart before everything is completely destroyed?! What does the future hold for these two?
